That's definitely not a sticker. That is a spraypainted original black genesis and the gold spraypaint is flaking off, revealing the original factory genesis logo.

It’s could be broken solder joints on the controller port. I had a console that had this issue a while back. Can you fix mine? Controller port 1 does not work. Controller port 2 does work. What do you think the problem could be?

Now all it needs is 2 OPA4171 op-amp chips, two 500 pF 0805 SMD and two 1000 pF 0805 SMD to fix the audio circuit.
I might have to give that a try!!! When I do I will make a video on it for sure!!

I would say they either wiped the wet paint from the logo or clear taped over the logo & cut it with surgeon accuracy!
