Everyone was SHOOK. jungyeon even stood up and clapped at how amazing seventeen did. They did not won gold (tied with astro but astro did better at execution i think and svt did few mistakes so astro won) but they won our hearts
BOOing BOOing they were tired with the total score, but they looked at this one of the 2 categories in scoring to see who will win the gold. Astro had 9.45 in that category while Seventeen had 9.30, that's why Astro got the gold. They both did amazing though! ♡
Not because of favour of the judges, it's an already existing rule in aerobics that in the case of a tie the team with the higher execution mark will receive the win.

CARATEEN DO BOOMBOOM seventeen focused more on the tricks and aerobics (which were amazing!) and Astro focused more on the musicality and group formations. They ended up getting the same score but Astro had a higher technical component which I believe is why they won. Hope that helps! Clearly both groups were stoked for each other :) that's the most important part
