The insurance program in the career mode made me realize what an awful driver I am
i drive just long enough that i can get the free accident forgiveness to not raise my insurance rating, and then brake a single part of my car by going a little over the limit limping it back to the garage
@@Reesetrain44i just drive my damaged vehicles inside the task points and after i complete the task the vehicle is completely fixed😊

You need to play this with steering wheel, so much better, and put your transmission to realistic mode.

If you add car and car config mods to your game, they can appear in career mode to buy.
Adding more of those will diversify what comes up for sale and also add in cheaper options
cheapest option by far is a Gavril grand marshal aero taxi, got mine for 200$ sold some stuff off it and total price was I think 178$ at 230k odo same specs as a base one V8 RWD 4 speed A
couldn't tell you which mod it was that had it or why it was so cheap
Go to mods manager - 0.31 - settings - cloud - game save - player assets - and then change money to 10 million and then your rich
Also the developers are German

Use your direct drive wheel on BeamNG it is way better and feels more realistic
I need good wheel settings recommendations for ye old CSL DD if anybody has them. I'd prefer it to feel like iRacing, which is unpopular as far as ffb goes
@@baronnecas2880 I don't think the settings are much different from any simulator. But I don't think you can expect a similar feel currently due to the tyre model.

Ive been playing thia career mode and ive alreafy got 3 vehicles, the Ibishu 200BX that you can get at the start, a Bastion luxury version that i modded to have a widebody and other things, and a Gavril D-Series i use for deliveries that has a lot of large boxes in the back for deliveries.
It really fun.

@@Robert_D_Mercer i had fully upgraded my first car in a previous version of the game so i couldnt bother doing the work to make the cash for it again 😂 doesnt seem like the career mode is far from final release at which point save files will work after the updates, now theyre reworking payments from jobs and cost of parts and cars to make it balanced so the progress doesnt move from one version of the game to the next :D im just surprised that pants isnt using his sim rig to play the game since it feels waaaaaaay better on a wheel than a controller 😂

yeah the police escape missions are just frustratingly impossible. No matter how fast you driive they just spawn infront of you...
you can mods as well like different vehicles to buy, better parts to buy for you vehicles like engine turbos and cosmetics and add events like the IROK Races

Just so you know, you'll have to go to garage and then select the car you repaired in order to get your car back. I did the same thing and it was kind of hard to get to.

Having dailied a '89 Ford F150 single cab with a long bed... I disagree on the single cab being superior, one trip to the shops with a passenger, and having to put your bags in the open bed as they don't fit in the cab... and you're over the single cab life. :P
While yes in some you could put the shopping between the seats, or in the middle on the bench, or on the floor in front of the bench, the passenger however had a bag which took the footwell of their leg area, the middle bench only holds a limited number of bags, and the one I drove wasn't an automatic, so the floor was taken by the longest shifter... in the world.
And on the topic of that... it was unfortunately not a V8 version, but still interesting to try out a 4.9 liter I6, the V8 version is 5.0... so the I6 is as big as the V8.... either way, it was an older model, so the manual was only a 4 speed, and it was terrible, 1st gear is only for if you got heavy cargo, so you basically started in 2nd, and it did not enjoy driving on the motorway as it had short gears...
I'm still kinda traumatized going on a road trip with it, for it after 6 hours of driving started overheating, as it turns out the thermostat was stuck, even if I'm in Norway, our summers can be decently hot, at least to us, so until I could find a place to fill water after removing the thermostat, me and my friend got stuck driving in 30+ Celsius summer sun, with the heater on full blast to try help the car not overheat... my friend still has a loathing of F150 now, even if it started off fun, teasing him that despite him being a huge BMW guy, I had the bigger I6. :P
Once you get bored of grinding, just look up infinite money glitch for career mode. It gets repetitive so to keep beamng entertaining I just make a new build every day and drive it then sell it.

Why can i not open the doors and stuff like the green box doesn't show for me please help ive been having this problem for so long and its driving me insane ive reinstalled, moved all mods to correct location, ive cleared cache and ive even deactivated all mods and tried a safe mode save to see if the mods are the problem but still not working. someone please help lol 😢
There is a way to fast-track getting money in the career mode, but it is a little cheatsy doodle.
