She put too much of each product. and lift gel for roots..only in front part.. when final result needs more volume at the crown. And she could achieve much greater volume with different blow drying technique and wouldn't need any backcombing at all.
I thought she used too much, too. But this is also an ad for Kerastase products, so they want you to use more than necessary so that you will run out faster and buy more.
I agree with you. I feel like for an "expert" she either has outdated techniques or Kerastase feels they need to dumb it down for us viewers. The average youtube beauty viewer knows how to spray dry shampoo, backcomb her hair and use a curling iron. The reason they used so much product is just a ploy to get the customer to use more and go through the product faster hence purchasing more product. In my opinion "actual" helpful tips would show someone how to create the same look with just a blow dryer and a round brush.
I've been waiting for that fringe tip my whole life!! I just tried this hairstyle on myself and I couldn't be happier with it! Instead of all the products she used, I just used dry shampoo, powder play, and Elnett hairspray.
Love the look Chloe, aside that the woman was a little cold to me like she was here just to promote her sprays and sell them, no hate comments please, just saying that she needed to be a little warm hearted and show u and share with u all her tips from her heart and soul

This is a very cool idea for your viewers! My hair has a lot more texture naturally than yours (wavy-curly) so it would not blow dry as perfectly, but it's great to see how the products can be used. You asked a lot of the same questions I think we would as well.

Usually I love your vids Chloe you do a great job of explaining why you do certain things while applying makeup and why it works but this video really just seemed like a plug for a hair brand. I don't mind learning about quality products and how to use them properly but this video didn't even really show how you did anything. It was all product and no technique, I'm very disappointed that I won't be able to duplicate it well even if I bought all the products because the video didn't give good enough directions.
