The people working on The Jungle Book said that they made Kaa’s biggest flaw the fact that he can’t keep his mouth shut Edit: I think a way to avoid Kaa’s hypnosis is will power. Bagheera fell under it quickly because he obeys the rules. Mowgli was able to put up a short fight because he’s stubborn and rebellious - but will still do what he’s told. And Shere Khan doesn’t listen to anybody or the jungle law; thus won’t obey Kaa’s hypnosis despite looking directly. It makes me wonder how King Louie and ESPECIALLY Baloo would respond to his spell.

@@welcome2thepond714 Thank you. The Jungle Book is one of my favorite Disney movies (was number 1 as a kid). Sucks Schaffrilias hasn’t seen that video in particular though. Out of the three Jungle Book villains, Kaa is the most memorable for me not just because there are few Disney snakes. He’s a serious threat, especially if you study real snakes, and think of the “what ifs” if Kaa won. Mowgli would be struggling to escape his stomach like someone trying to climb up a water slide. That is of course if Kaa hasn’t broken his collar bone to get him to fit in his mouth. People bashed me on Twitter for this though lmao. There was an article months ago where a group of people ranked the top 10 Disney villains, and for some reason, Bambi Hunters were on the list. I replied and gave four examples of who could’ve replaced that spot, and everyone is like “bro tried to sneak Kaa in 💀”. Obviously Kaa isn’t a top tier villain, but he’s at least more memorable than Bambi Hunters. I don’t know, it’s just my thought.
