Doc ask me what song I wanted to sing, Rock Me Tonight was already killin the charts . I'm honored to have had the the chance to sing in the Juke I was 20 years old here, what great memories. Thx Dr. Issac Greggs for believing in me. RIP Doc.
This is World War 3. You definitely lived up to what we thought you would be. We brought you through correctly so we knew you would perform under the pressure. That's a great show and you were a big part of it. #oldschoolhorses
I was at this game, in my hometown of Mobile, AL. I was 13 years old. From the time the Jukebox entered Ladd Stadium until they left; they destroyed the Marching Hornets. When I think of my now deceased father, I think of the wonderful time we had watching the Jukebox for the first time at this particular game. Sweet Memories!!
Sooooo much energy and soooo much pride. Everyone is driving and blowing. You had no choice back then... Every week someone wanted your spot on the field!
My senior year in the Jukebox. This was the first year of the new uniforms. We went from 128 to 180 and were taking NO prisoners. We felt we had no equal and we tolerated no rivals.
As an Alabama State Alumnus, I respect Southern University's band performance and program. This was a year before I started at ASU and as a native of Miami, Florida the only perception I had of any HBCU'S institutions was from the football games on BET during the 80's - smh! However, I'm an exceptional Bama State Success and have witnessed our program compete with Southern University over the last decades, especially our classy young lady dancers, the Stingettes, who was voted the best dance team among HBCU'S from 2014-2016 - Dr. Blount " A complicated life deserves a simple, but practical solution "
