Actually they blew up before the pandemic, and were just starting their biggest tour when it all shut down. Remember Pisces, I Speak Astronomy, and Sit, Stay, Roll Over were off of King of Everything and that was the real start of their rise.
Tim, you're right their first released album was inhale, don't breathe followed by cloud factory I don't know why my mind in the moment took me to king of everything lol
Those skip gallops are so difficult. This song display so much skill across the board. I like the gamer style you chose. It gives more opportunity to see what is happening with the band. Good choice here. As always, loved it!
Like the double feature🤘🏼🤘🏼 PS for all their great songs, this is the first of the 4 consecutive tracks on Wallflowers that I listen to on repeat - way too much.
Pisces blew up in 2017 and I know they were in Australia in early 2020. So they already made it international before the pandemic. Unfortunately I didn't find out about Jinjer till early 2022! They just came back to Aus and I got to see their show two nights ago. Definitely see them if they ever stop by your city 🥳
Yeah and they made a live DVD/performance of it! Super cool and maybe the last metal show on earth before covid stopped everything. I saw them at a small bar in Melbourne and it was brutal! Sleep of the Righteous was played live too, it has the best riff
I hadn't heard this particular live performance, & it was awesome - thank you! I love the double feature & the "gamer style". I couldn't hear what you were saying during the live video, though.
yeah it was at bloodstock 2022 it's an awesome show! I'm glad you liked the gamer style I'll probably just deploy it for when we do Live shows and the whole hearing me during the videos I'm damned if I do and Damned if I don't. I know using audio ducking would fix it but then people complain about the videos volume dipping down for a second and making it an unpleasant experience. I could lower the volume on the music but I have to account for what types of devices people listen to the videos on. It's something I struggle with all the time.
@Killermcknight I've seen the Jinjer Bloodstock 2022 videos around, I just haven't watched many of them yet. I think that Tati has had a bit of difficulty with her voice recently, & watching her struggle makes me worry about her, so the enjoyment value is gone! But, she sounded great here, so that's very encouraging. Ya, there are no perfect answers on how to comment. I prefer the pause / talk / rewind a bit / resume method, but you'll never please everyone, so there's no point worrying about a few gripes. But if your comment can't be heard, then there's no point. Cool reaction - cheers!

you will LOVE the rest of the album. this album is a masterpiece
i have a feeling they’ll just keep on doing it too. also, you should definitely do an album review on it
Such a great song off of an awesome album! I really enjoyed the live version. The album as a whole is just fantastic.
The guitar tone on this album 🔥

Thanks Dave!

Nashville on the 11th🤘🤘🤘🤘
Hell yeah man
I like the live version better. Maybe she tweaked the phrasing a little. Like this reaction format also.
Thanks James I appreciate the feedback I might just keep it for when we do live shows but I'm not sure lol
