This is how mom used to curl her hair in the 80s xD.. I have wavy hair so I only do this with my bangs.. I don't "heat" my hair before putting the curler, I blow dry it after securing it with the Bobby pin so it's less damaging.. Nice hair ❤️

Imma try this even though I have curly hair
edit: this was an arm workout because of how tangly my hair is, also gave me more doll-like curls than blow-out waves. i didn't get as much but that's probably because i have pretty heavy hair but don't have layers... i think it's worth trying though. hope this was helpful

    • @osfnzusjwnnoudisn7601

I get curtain bangs, and long layers. I get a v style cut as well just, because my hair is thick and puffy on the ends. It just helps make my hair look even, with nice dimension. Especially when I curl it. It’s perfect. You just gotta find what works for your hair. I’ve done this since I was in high school. My aunt does hair, so I kind of learned what works for my hair from her.

wrapping your freshly blow dried hair around a ribbon like those overnight curls videos would work for this scenario (i.e. fit in your helmet) and give you a similar effect! Just unwrap it and shake it out upside down in the car park! (you will get better volume if you part your hair on a different side while it's wrapped to how you will wear it undone - buuuut middle parts will still always be flat after a spending time en-helmeted!)
