  • This is my first video so don’t be too hard on me lol. This is for anyone who is having trouble reprogramming their bcm using Focccus after fords most recent BCM recall. Share this with anyone having trouble with their 2013-2018. Comment below for any questions on how to do this.
My phone died at the end of the video but there no more information on how to exit the program

Thank you very much for this video! I added a Ford accessories remote start/VSS/Hood Latch to a 2017 Ford Focus SE and needed to activate in the BCM and IPC. Couldn't for the life of me figure it out until I watched your video. Thanks again.

Can I use this software and my laptop to turn off my automatic daytime running lights on my 2012 Ford Focus SEL? I want to sit in a parking lot (parked) to run the radio, heat, or air conditioning with my headlights completely off.

Try turning your light switch one notch to the left on a focus 2017. On your car I’m not so sure

Wow your OBDII adapter works the first time! What model is it? I have to sit there for 30-60 mins trying to get mine to even connect to the Central Config, let alone write to it after.

Hey buddy I have a question. I have a 2013 ford focus se hatchback, last owner puts LEDs to low beams with out ballast, some times says low beams fail. After that only one works. But now both not working. I already check fuses and relay. You think the bcm burns out? Thanks in advance

I know this is a 3-year-old video, however, I just got a 2019 Ford escape and I was looking at how to disable the auto start/stop. One way I found was through the BdyCM like shown in the video however FORScan prompted that I had to download the SBL file, which I did. Then when I tried loading it, about 70% of it, then it stopped and said it the action was not completed. This then caused a check engine light and an error saying "engine fault service now." Everything seems to run and work just fine besides the error as well as now the vehicle will not remote start via the key fob or the app. If anyone else has experienced this or knows a way to fix this issue, that would be much appreciated.

Not through forscan, it's just for control modules and not calibration tables.

@@pedromonteiro2644 i just said that comparing to forscan and this bcm access on mk3 focus it is much easier to do all this things on mk2.5 focus with SW called ELM config.
Focccus is for mk3 which I don't own so i couldn't try it.
I have USB type obd scanner and I recommend it over BT bcs connections is much more stable. You don't want anything to interrupt communication while writing to BCM bcs you could brick the module.
I hope that this is the answer you are fine with.
