I just bought their 18 inch monitor to use when I set up my new desk and move my gaming consoles to the new desk from their current spot on the tv stand.
You mean to say you didn't opt in for the 10,000mAh battery version!!!!Jokes aside there's so many things coming, I too invested in something recently that too MIGHT have 120hz once all is said and done hint hint.
It would be! I gotta say, due to the fast response of OLED (though not as fast as standalone monitors), VRR is not as much of a necessity but I’m still hoping the next generations of panels will have that feature! Happy New Year!!
I believe this is a beta project that UA-cam shared with some creators, not everyone has this feature. I don't know why I was selected but I'm glad it's been helpful for you! Happy new year to you as well and thanks for your support!
Thanks for this review. I have problems with response time with a lot of panels, including the oled switch. Do you think the RS of this panel is okay ? I always teest Taiko No Tatsujin to see if it's okay or not :-)
Great question. @ 1:31, if you put the video @ 0.25x speed, you'll see the App Library getting a white border on the iPhone, I measured somewhere between one to two frames delay, which means anywhere between 33 to 66 millisecond delay. As is the case with most portable monitors, it's not 1:1 and overall not as fast as monitors. The other part you can see is when I play CODM @ 8:03, you'll notice I tend to overshoot my sticks when trying to aim. That's a result of delay, it's bearable, and adaptable I'd say but if you intend to play competitively, get a proper 0.03ms response time monitor. If it's for leisure, convenience, casual gaming, it's absolutely fine and something I would think most people would adjust within 5-10 mins of gaming.
@@GameTechTalk wow thanks for the precise answer ! I'm not a competitive gamer, but quite an old one now. I don't know precisely how or why but it feels like i've been getting very sensitive eyes now and this blur gives me headaches and eye migraines. I found that 120hz screen did not resolve the issue, nor oled screens. I have to try a fast mordern monitor (mine is a okayish 75hz IPS Philips). Thanks for your help.
i have a question that is outside of the topic of the video: is the flydigi apex 4 better than bigbigwon blitz 2? and also, im still waiting for bigbigwon blitz 2 full review and its comparison to other controllers who has tmr as well
I bought a 4k OLED portable monitor like a year ago. I imported it from china & it wasn’t cheap but such a thing has existed for a while. You can run plugged into a pc but the monitor doesn’t require a secondary power source in that case. & if it’s a pc it also has touchscreen support & can be used on a pc that doesn’t have touchscreen support in order to grant touchscreen support for that device. In some cases you might have to plug it in but it runs off portable chargers. So still no wall outlet required.
Right OLED ones are not new at all, I actually used one that my brother lended me for about a month and that was upwards of 7-8 months ago. That said, they are not on the same level. I'm also sure there are panels that would compete a lot better with the UColor O2 such as the option from Viewsonic or the one from ASUS. That said, the prices are completely different and some features are less too, though I would expect the quality to be up there, as is the case with the UColor O2. I will say, the UColor O2 is not as "low-power" friendly as some of the other options I've played with but as you pointed out, that can be remedied. Cheers and Happy New Year!
Did I make it to the end of this video? Yes, yes I did. Thanks, Klef. I wish the same for you too. Uperfect is the perfect name for what appears to be the perfect portable monitor. For cost reasons I'm more likely to stick with something like the Azorka (spelling?) that was recently reviewed on this channel. It appears to be more than good enough for my purposes while only costing a fourth of the price of this Uperfect. But; I can't deny that this unit is probably le roi of portable monitors. For the person that already has a bevy of premium output devices, I can't think of a better way to spend $400 to improve one's gaming and productivity experience than to output those games and spreadsheets to this screen.
Totally. ARZOPA (have you started indulging in New Year’s Eve decadent pleasures of life? xD) is still a crazy reliable option when you think that it is a quarter of the price. Thanks for all your support Matt, I always savour your comments and please know that your presence is greatly appreciated! Thanks for 2024 and to an amazing next one!
@GameTechTalk - I haven't yet, surprisingly! Haha. I am currently finishing off a German Chocolate cake leftover from Christmas. Maybe the coconuts on top of it fermented?... You're welcome. You've been very kind towards me and I'm happy to have become a part of this wonderful community you've built. 2025 is going to be a great year for you, for me, and for many of the other regulars in the comments. I can feel it.
hmm is it maybe possible to fold that cover stand into like a triangle shape similar to the ipad ones then it should hold no problem vs trying to just rest it in the grooves of course will not hold and fall over easy, just a thought because i remember doing this with my ipad cover and thinking this is some cheap flimsy crap until i realized there's a correct way to fold it 😂
Though I definitely did that mistake too in the past, I made sure to follow their instructions with this one, it's just terrible. It would help if the backside would hold with magnets, if it did, it would be considerably better but yeah... Best to buy this already preparing to have a plan B cause it's not great at all! 😅
I was supposed to reach out to Fantech to know if they wanted me to review it, apparently it's a very good low-price controller but I've been overwhelmed with e-mails and requests so for now, I'll wait for them to reach out if they need coverage. Thanks for your suggestion!
Just plugging a USB-C cable from the iPhone to the monitor and a USB-C power brick. That would work with USB-C iPhones, not the lightning one, I forgot to mention.
It’s fine, I don’t mind the asking, if I can, I can. I currently have a giveaway for a Mobapad N1 HD and I do have a lot more planned in the coming weeks, that will be announced on a retro handheld video. Stay tuned for more details! Cheers

Are you saying that the DNA Duo is self-powered? And that 120Hz might happen? *cough cough* Exciting times ahead fo sho!!
Great review
Thanks! I enjoyed making it, it's a nice product and in the product category, one of the best experiences I've had.
NICE>>> definitely could see a use for this one. great review Clef.
Thanks my guy and Happy New Year! 👍
Was waiting review about this thing from you. Thanks man! Happy New Year and good luck for you and your channel! 🎄🤜🤛
Happy New Year to you too, thanks for your support and 7 months of being subscribed, wow!
This monitor with a built in battery (for wirelessly streaming moonlight or steam link from, your p.c.) and vrr would be endgame

Happy new year, thanks for put audio track option, I would to know why more content creators not implement that option on all videos.

Looks like a nice portable screen. Thx for the review, Clef!
You bet, always a pleasure Rem! :)
I wish there weren't vertical stripes on macOS over display port, but otherwise I've been loving mine.

does the monitor has power passthrough, and how strong is it? For example, can I charge my Steam Deck through the monitor with a power source.

I'm curious at how you got the iPhone's screen to show on that monitor 😲
