Great video, Andy! You seem to get a lot of bang for your buck with these sets. I love this movie and I’m always blown away with how good it looks, with every rewatch!
Cheers Jim! Yeah the visuals of this movie still hold up incredibly well today. The sets and filming techniques still astound. It’s a profound movie experience if u just go with it!
Look at Andy with the double camera technique. You don't half make it hard on yourself to make the best vid ;) pure passion there. Great vid, as usual. I'm not even into this much but you always make it so interesting hehe
Thank you badger, that’s a great compliment. If ur not even into the film but still watching anyway then i have succeeded on some level. Glad u enjoyed it mate. The movie itself is certainly in a league of its own with its strange storytelling structure, visuals and concepts well ahead of the film’s time, most of which are still relevant today - 55 years on!!! Lol But it’s not for everyone and as much as i appreciate it, it’s admittedly not one i’ll rewatch often. Not from beginning to end anyway. Thanks for the comment mate 👌☺️
2001 is my favourite film it is a masterpiece, composition, sound use of music, overall presentation all carefully considered and the flight to the space station it is the space shuttle literally predicted. Arthur C Clarke and Kubricks collaboration and it set the science fiction bar very high.
It’s certainly a masterpiece filmmaking-wise. I can only imagine how ground breaking this would have been when it released and it still holds up incredibly well. U just feel u are watching something significant also. There’s a sophistication to it. I must checkout the sequel. Anyway thanks for taking the time to watch the video and comment my friend 😃👍
Thanks Jimmy mate, yeah i found an old iPhone lying around and wanted to teach myself how to use multiple cameras and edit them. It was really just for me that but i will be using it going forward in more videos for sure. Glad you appreciated it! ☺️👍 I’ve no intention of collecting all the film vats tho they are all nice. I’ve no space for them all! Jaws one was particularly nice, enjoyed ur unboxing of it 👌cheers for watching mate 😃
Thank you Marty, i appreciate the kind words and glad u enjoyed the video ☺️😃👍 The jaws one is a cracker, kinda disappointed i never got that one now. I do have a jaws 4k steel already which is why i never got it. I’ll need to swing by ur channel soon pal. I don’t always get the chance to watch others as too busy making my own! Thanks again mate 👌
The most stunning film ever made. It's hard to believe Ligeti's music was not made for this movie.
It’s amazing how well it stands up still visually and thematically in 2023! Usually the hallmark of a classic. Thanks for watching my friend 😃👍
@@ElectricGeek Jupiter and beyond the infinite is specially mind blowing! Imagine this in 1968!
Outstanding, you have came on so much , onwards and upwards
Cheers dad! Yeah i’m always trying new things, enjoying the journey 😀 lol
