      @@kellyedey5952 the doner most likely donated a waist lenth head of hair in a single braid to the temple in India. The temple turns around and sells the hair to China...who turns around and sells it to stores abroad...who turn around and sell it to the consumers. At a massive upcharge I might add.

    I think you did very good and all you got to do is took the back of the wig where the clip is you need to take it in your hair and then like the side that's up you can kind of put a little bit of got2b glued on that and blow-dried a little bit and put like a couple coat and it'll also stick so it doesn't have to be a 360 honey but you did a very good job and it looks very good in the back as well you just got to put the Clips in it and also another tip you can also add bobby pins to make that side that's showing a little bit lay down so I can look even more natural....

      Wearing a wig is not cultural. Many people wear them. Just stereotype that women of color have no hair and spend all their money on hair

    • @kaibrix8089
      @kaibrix8089 2 роки тому

    I keep seeing comments reguarding race and wearing wigs. First of all, anyone of any race can wear wigs. Everyone has hair, not just one race has hair, so we can all wear something meant to be ones hair. And second, it shouldn't matter. People just want to have an issue, and get worked up over nothing.

Would there be a problem with keeping the wig in place, then? And did you secure the back with a comb through the stocking cap? Did you try this with a less expensive wig, and how did it work?

You did the best job I've seen yet teaching how to use a human hair wig. I ordered a silk top glueless full lace top from uniwigs. My wig looks to be constructed the same as yours. When the term glueless is used does this mean either glue or not? Will I be able gel the front of my wig as you did?

    So if you don't apply with your fingers, What is it doing to your scalp? I was watching another channel (Raven Navera) and mentioned how were overdoing it. Only need GTB Freeze Blasting Spray - makes it more natural like real hair - not frozen hair. Just a thought.

    • @JannaNiki
      @JannaNiki  5 років тому

      I agree that this is kind of over kill haha, this was a technique that I learned at the time from taking a wig course and wanted to share. But I do agree that you can achieve the same result with less product. I have tried just using the got2b glued spray to apply the wig and felt like I didn’t have as good of a hold. Right now I prefer to use the spray to secure the wig cap and then I’ll use one or two thin layers of the got 2b gel to stick down the wig. I have a few other videos on my channel that show this method. I’m planning on filming an updated how to put your wig in a bun video soon to share and easier method ☺️

    Are they hot make your scalp sweat during the summer ?

      It really depends! I find that I am actually ok to wear a wig in the summer, the lace is pretty breathable and I don't find my scalp sweats. But its just up to your comfort levels. Sometimes having long hair on my neck and if my neck is sweaty it can be uncomfortable.

    Totally fantastic video! I've been wanting to try full lace wigs and to wear my wigs beyond a day so this was a revelation! Couple of questions: I know you do a separate wig-dying vid, but could you dye a wig with it glued on like in the video above (or go to a salon to get it dyed)? And what care to you need to give your wig following the extensive use of glue / gel? Stay fabulous! xx

      @@JannaNiki Thank you so much for the reply to this! I do have a follow up question: you mention about being able to wear the wig over a number of days. What would you recommend to keep the wig clean over those few days? I am thinking dry shampoo as I'm sure getting in the shower would be an instant fail. Thanks in advance and loving the new vids! xx
