Didn't get bored for a single minute. There are so many responsibilities on a single person. The amount of confidence he has on his judgement, experience and team is immense. I believe that there is a lot of learning still pending for me. Hats off to the whole Mundra port team, Mr. Gautam Adani and Malaysir.
I'm realy proud of adani for constructing India's first mother port in kerala (Trivandrum,vizhinjam port) it is the deepest motherport with depth of 24m.

Thanks to the Kerala govt which has ignored the CAG rules, Kerala will face revenue losses for over 10 years towards the end of lease agreement between the state govt and Adani ports.

Mundra is not about port, it has India's biggest solar manufacturing unit, oil refinery, food oil, CNG and other chemical plants, soap manufacturing, and now billed India's biggest steel plant in kutch and many other big industry runnings there.
Adani group is very ambitious, and it is making India proud. The port and infrastructure sector is one of the most important sectors, yet at the same time most neglected sector in India. The PSU's are not a scale to operate efficiently, until sufficient investment pours in. I believe the best thing the government, be it Congress of BJP could do is encourage our own corporates and entrepreneurs, especially in this capital intensive sector.
P.S : Socialism and Communism are failed ideologies, and they should be discarded and thrown in the dustbin in India.
Indians need ₹50 litre petrol and Government Jobs . They can't think beyond it.

Mr Adani is NOW BUILDING INDIAS FIRST MOTHER PORT NAMED 'VIZHINJAM' IN KERALA'S CAPITAL CITY THIRUVANANTHAPURAM ( TRIVANDRUM ) WHICH CAN HANDLE ANY BIGGEST SHIP IN THE WORLD . This port will be the deepest port upto( 24meters all day long coz its natural) in India, and will be the closest to the international shipping route only 12 nm. Currently indias 70% goods are shipped to dubai , Singapore, Colombo, and Salala. So we have to pay a very huge amount as tax.

I have seen documentaries on the handling of Mega Cargo ships at major American and European ports with the advantage of sophisticated and ultra modern infrastructure. I was highly impressed with the skill and dedication of our technicians and workers using whatever was provided. It shows what private enterprise with no Government interference but tendering all support and encouragement can achieve. Great going by the Adani Group

mithu16 Be a little practical buddy! Mundra Port manages to provide turn around time to vessels which is, I guess, least in the world. Moreover this is the deepest port of India. Thus, large number of vessels can be easily and rapidly served. Need more accommodation? Adani has ports at Hazira, Dahej, Koyali and many other places. Now tell me how does this make poor more poorer?

We need to innovate more on ports. Efforts should be made to make this as fully automated. India need to have more such ports in future. Since India is the largest market, hence we should beat when it comes to annual container volume than any ports in the world.
