I didn't quit, I just stopped playing one day and forgot to start. 2 years later it still hangs on the wall, as my weekly reminder that ONE DAY I will pick it up again and play.
I think I was tired that day, and next day I was tired again and then I traveled for a bit and then the rest of life happened and it was never time to pick it up again.

I quit for no reason at all, and the day I got back to it I immediately started learning Cliffs of Dover and since then I've been more hooked than before 👍🎸
This is simple awesome I said it before you are not just a guitar teacher that just teach songs and how to play but your advices and your self esteem that's what I like the most.amazing video.
I started playing in middle school, then quit a couple months later because I wasn't learning what I wanted. I took lessons that were rather heavy on theory and focused on learning notes and plucking individual strings. All I wanted was to play a chord, and in those lessons, it was all scales and "Mary Had a Little Lamb." Skip to 15 years later with everything on the internet and I've started learning again, this time doing what I always wanted.
With that green screen behind you, i would have loved to see you seemingly playing on the beach or somewhere exotic. Great to see and hear you both plaything together guys.

I stopped learning as a teen, because my brother destroyed my guitar over my back. I didn't even try again till I was 53. Thank you very much.

When you solo and change scale do you change to the same note or not necessarily ?
Also it would add a lot if you played between segments in the video.
Hi andy, i know that this may be off topic.. i'm a beginner and i've been learning guitar for 5 months.. i started learning when i bought a dirt cheap acoustic guitar for 30$.. my god until today i was struggling really hard to play on the first fret..it was dreadful.. until i started putting capo on my guitar and i can easily play all the chords that i learned from you.. is it because of lack of my skill or maybe i should just get a new guitar?? Thank you and sorry for being off topic.. i hope that you or maybe other viewers can give me the suggestion.. thanks again!

I've accepted that I'll never ever be as good as the guitarists on UA-cam. I'd donate or throw away my guitar for a PS5 in a heartbeat of I could.

About 2 years ago I bought myself a Yamaha Pacifica 212VFM Tobacco Sunburst Guitar, plus an amp.
Even bought Andy's Beginner series.
I have a severe problem in that I have a major short attention span when it comes to many things that I want to do, I just get so bored so quickly and with in 10-15 minutes im on to something else, I have so many things (projects) sitting around unfinished.
Does any one else suffer from this and how did you over come it and learn the guitar!

Nobody can give you a straight answer. That's the problem. Give me a list of all the things I need to learn to be as good as Keith Richards and I'll learn it. But everything is so secretive.
Just start by learning the Rolling Stones back catalogue using free UA-cam tutorials and go from there. Education is free online these days, no more secrets! 🎸
