This was the main Akaraka Yonsei festival which is for undergrad students. The Alumni one was the day after (I believe this was the first yr they had one for Alumni). The lineup for Akaraka is never announced in advance so basically no one knew he was going to be performing...they announce it as they artists come on stage and he was the closing act. Despite that fact, the crowd came as if they were prepared. Crazy. Students who were there said the crowd was so loud they couldn't even hear Taeyang. He really had the best response out of all University performances. Please check out the Eyes Nose Lips stage cam as well - the crowd sings along and he even has a fan sing a part.
That is INSANE! Taeyang is definitely difficult to hear over the crowd, at moments. That must have felt so amazing. Thank you for the recommendation - we will add that one to this week's reactions. 😘
I were not a vip but I’d definitely shout and sing along so hard😆 the songs are iconic all 2nd gen fans will know the songs by heart

I got teary-eyed watching this performance again. EVERYONE in the audience is singing/dancing. I can't imagine how that must have felt for Taeyang. It feels as if BIGBANG is etched in people's memories and hearts. They should be very proud. 💛
I didn't even think about the idea of T.O.P participating in the SG2 OST! OMG!

also, crowds go crazy at festivals whenever BIGBANG songs are played even if it's just by the DJ and no BB members are present. That's how iconic BIGBANG songs are. BBB, FB, Good Boy, Crooked....are just some songs I've seen. Also "Oh My Friend" is still being used as a cheering song at Yonsei University even though it was released in 2011. It's no wonder that BIGBANG still remains the #1 male idol group on SK UA-cam even above all currently promoting and popular groups.

I remember watching vids from Busan Sajik Baseball Stadium 2022, it was after the game the dj played bigbang songs and the crowd stayed to sing, they even ask for encore after lols ,its like a concert without the artist 😂,thats how General public love Bigbang songs , I bet "Sunset glow" is one of the most played songs on games .
