My dad tossed a raffle ticket into a box and won laps around Indianapolis 500 in a two man Indy car with Mario. My dad is 6’2” and he said the entire time it was difficult due to cramped leg room, but he said it was one of the most exiting experiences...we both enjoy cars a lot and I was very exited he got to be driven by a legend Mario Andretti. (Before I get skradoodled, I said this not as a flex, but evidence that Mario is a cool guy!)
My favorite racing family. Mario signed one of his photographs at the Houston Granprix. He actually signed it to my name. Man I wish they were still racing here in Houston. I'll be rooting for Marco and the whole Andretti teams.
11 thumbs down, that must be the Unsers and Foyts. First Grand Prix I watched was Fuji 76 when Hunt won the championship and Mario the race. Middle of the night here in the UK. Then in 78 Mario drove the Lotus 79, Black Beauty, to his own championship. Mario is motor racing for me.
When I was 5 years old, my uncle took me to a shopping center parking lot where Mario was doing an autograph session at an auto parts store or something. I think he was there with his race car and John Force's funny car was there for some reason. Its hard to remember 25 years later but i still have the picture he signed for me.
It’s actually the reissue Yema did to celebrate the 50th anniversary of his win. He was promoting it at the time. He does still have the vintage one too.
Awesome. Glad to see some good promotion. Mario has done so much for the sport of auto racing. Good job Michael with the team. Rossi is the New Rick Mears.
John did win a couple races but not daytona like his uncle mario. In fact, mario is the only driver in history to win the daytona 500, indianapolis 500, and f1 world championship
Damn why couldn't Marco be at least a third of the driver his father & grandfather was. I swear when he came on the scene in 06 nearly winning Indy I remember thinking that this kid was an Andretti and he was probably gonna win a lot of races and championships, just hasn't happened...
I love how Marco says "we run good there, every year." By 'we', he must not be including himself. He finished 26th out of 33 cars, and was last place of the cars still running at the finish, 5 laps behind the leader. If his dad didn't own the team, he would have been booted from his ride many years ago.
While Mario and John raced in NASCAR, this family (especially the three in this video) are far better known for Indycar racing. Just drop the word NASCAR from the title and it would be far more accurate.
Can’t believe they put that in the title considering the entire video is about their INDYCAR careers. If they watched the video they’d know and even if they had to google the name, most of the information would come up about INDYCAR because there hasn’t been an Andretti in nascar in years
John passed away from colon cancer. RIP John. Aldo, Mario's identical twin brother is retired. Jeff runs his own business, you can find him on LinkedIn. He retired from racing due to a bad racing accident on turn 2 at Indy that messed up his feet.
Unfortunately Marco was all about the business and not actually winning anything. Maybe Andretti Indy luck or lack of talent. It’s a shame the winning that his father and grandfather achieved didn’t move forward. It seemed on the outside that he never had the commitment or passion for to succeed. But why should he, he inherits a global name and history. Just cruise, baby.
Always a class act this family, God bless and we will be cheering for Marco’s face to be on that trophy.
you'll be cheering a while

"Have you ever raced each other?" Jimmy on point with his research and questions as always. God bless him. 😁
What Beautiful Family! 3 guys beautiful. I love this family, Marco, Michael and Mario. They have a lot of history.
My favorite racing family.

Love the Andretti’s! See you in May. Come on Marco... your turn to win on your Grandpa’s Anniversary win!!
11 thumbs down, that must be the Unsers and Foyts.

Talk about a racing dynasty. When you think of Indy you think of Andretti, Unser, Penske.. All class acts!!!

I couldn't help but notice that Mario is wearing his original Yema Rallye watch that he wore when he won in 1969!! What a legend!!
It’s actually the reissue Yema did to celebrate the 50th anniversary of his win. He was promoting it at the time. He does still have the vintage one too.
The Indianapolis 500 trophy its the most BEAUTIFUL of all the sports, maybe the world cup follows behind.
OKAY Mario, with the socks and collar. Bad ass.
What a classy family. I like the Andretti family and wish them luck
My #1 favorite name for years in racing especially at my home town Indianapolis
We need a "ride along" video of Jimmy and Marco in a two seater indy car so we can see Jimmy's face. It would be EPIC!! Do it!!!
And this is what I was waiting for!
Marco next! What an awesome grandpa!
Awesome. Glad to see some good promotion. Mario has done so much for the sport of auto racing. Good job Michael with the team. Rossi is the New Rick Mears.
Actually, Jimmy "lost his lunch" after riding with Marco. The video's on You-Tube.
Very cool. Love Mario's socks lol.
Haha wonderful. Andretti is the symbol of American racing.
STP shoulda came onboard for this deal with Marco's car at Indy this year as well...
Those four on a road trip would be a great remote...
Shake n bake
IndyCar, not NASCAR. Only Mario and John competed in NASCAR
Yep they had one job
John did win a couple races but not daytona like his uncle mario. In fact, mario is the only driver in history to win the daytona 500, indianapolis 500, and f1 world championship
@Pissed Bob Ross Actually no. John Andretti won the July race, not the Daytona 500. I'd still pick him any day over Marco though.
Damn why couldn't Marco be at least a third of the driver his father & grandfather was. I swear when he came on the scene in 06 nearly winning Indy I remember thinking that this kid was an Andretti and he was probably gonna win a lot of races and championships, just hasn't happened...
Jimmy is acting like he knows about Indy and racing. That boy has no idea.
Not like me. Lived near Ims all my life. Ya got any trivia question s for me ?
Do you pruett ?
@@markdinkel9006 Who was the first driver to win their second career top level race at IMS but never win the Indy 500?

Was it John that passed away or was that a different Andretti
They've changed it.
Home improvement vibes
U can tell the dad is a freemason with those checkers socks on
centi fugitive force??
car racing in circle is different then running at different speeds and sheips
start to push Aut fA Zer away from the center
2020 Win it Marco.
Sorry Michael, you're teams gotta get the bump this year.
I don't see it happening but IF it does, he'll buy his way in.
I hope Penske and Chip Ganassi too, for say that crap about the 25/8 rule.
Yep can't get too cocky! Marco and everyone is at risk of getting bumped.
Awsome😍
They are car racing
Change this!!! It's IndyCar, not Nascar. Completely different
Lol... Mario sounds sometimes like Walter from Jeff Dunham..!😂
Why Mike and Marco can't shave his beard but only Mario has no beard.
Why does this have only 666 likes!?
Yeah but can any of them play two recorders at the same time using only their nostrils?
Where's Jeff Aldo and John?
John passed away from colon cancer. RIP John.
Aldo, Mario's identical twin brother is retired.
Jeff runs his own business, you can find him on LinkedIn. He retired from racing due to a bad racing accident on turn 2 at Indy that messed up his feet.
Hi second love your show ❤️❤️💞😘😘
Headline needs to read Indycar. NASCAR is a different series. Wouldn’t call the NFL college football would you?
Gostei!!
I laughed soo hard
Does Jimmy even own a car ? 😂
do you think you really looked for the nose?
Fernando Alonso is gonna win this year
Do you think?, I will put my money on Alexander Rossi or Takuma Sato. They have more possibilities than Alonso.
First

Except Marco is awful talent skipped his generation
