I just want to say that I appreciate it from the bottom of my heart and I really enjoy reading all of your comments. You are all too sweet. I’m not so into social media and not super comfortable in front of the camera, but singing is one of my passions as well as learning languages. I also adore Filipino culture...obviously. 🥰🥰

This is great! My husband is Filipino. I don’t speak Tagalog but I like listening to the romantic songs, and I’ll sing along to some during karaoke. My husband will translate the words and they have such deep meanings. When you fall in love you don’t see race or culture, only the person you can’t live without!!!

Wow, she did really well! Maybe she can also try to sing "Dahil Sa 'Yo", "Gaano Ko Ikaw Kamahal", "Para Sa Akin" by Sitti, "Ikaw" by Regine Velasquez and yes to "Kahit Maputi Na Ang Buhok Ko"! Look for other Rey Valera classics like "Tayong Dalawa", etc. You can also search for some of Moira deIa Torre's beautiful songs if she wants to sing more contemporary songs. I think these songs would suit her voice really well. Maybe you guys can upload them on YT if she finally decides to cover these Filipino songs. I'm sure it'll be fun to watch!😊

@@DJARDSTER You should ask her to sing "Tagpuan" and "Tagu-Taguan" by Moira dela Torre. I think she would nail those two beautiful songs and they're not that hard to sing, haha! Some of my favorite Filipino songs are "Kanlungan" by Noel Cabangon, "Walang Hanggang Paalam" by Joey Ayala/Ice Seguerra and "Tuwing Umuulan At Kapiling Ka" by Regine Velasquez. Just ask her to listen to these songs and for sure she will love them!

Hey Guys! As we drew more interests from all of you, I started digging from my phone of videos when she was doing carpool karaoke during our road trips in the states. I found an old one where Kaci sang "Your Love" by Juris Fernandez from the Dolce Amore teleserye. That was the very first soap opera she watched and found strong interest in learning tagalog and Filipino culture. Would you like me to post it?
