even if he put it in the caption he absolutely knew what he was doing with that angle 😂. also i’d point out that the strength curve of the reverse band is very similar to that of a suit, so not having a suit here doesnt matter too much
agreed 100%, but at the same time there is no way to know how much is on the bar without seeing caption
@@manuelhayen872 yah true
Alright let him go to strongman live and we'll see if this is real lol
he was using a reverse band, it's just a variation
Not sure how he could fake 100s of lifts he's posted with very obviously real equipment in a public gym
Bruh, why are you hating? If he was in-front of you, you wouldn’t say shit to him 😂
@@romeg5531 Whatchu mean wouldn't say shit? I would call him the fuck out, it's not as if these strongman can fight lmao, if it's fake it's fake.
@@romeg5531 who said anything about hate?
300 x 15 is most impressive i have ever seen
1100 lb deadlift to me is more impressive then that, 300kg for 15 is also pretty nuts though to be fair lol
And it was stop and go.. crazy
what impresses me is that he lifts this much and works in healthcare. It's one the most demanding jobs in the world and yet he is able to pull this much. quite inspiring i must say.
He works a job just like anybody else. He clearly takes his training and diet seriously. I know he doesn’t turn down a lunch break regardless of how busy he may be…if he’s an RN.
Gear.
Steroids dont let it inspire you
I own a hardscaping business and still make progress at 35 lifetime natty. I don't see why a guy with a physical job on heavy gear wouldn't make progress either.
PEDs take up more of the slack than you might think, but yes it's still impressive. PEDs are crazy though, that's why they're called performance enhancing.
@@Pantelifts10 As an RN, you’re on your feet most of the shift but it’s by no means “physical.”
He must be a nurse at an anabolic clinic
Well.... assuming that is a Texas or Kabuki bar, the bend in it certainly suggests a lot of weight. It looks legit. Got to get on that platform!
my god imagine being able to do x15 300kg. this is mind blowing. guess i am ultra weak i can barely do that with 100kg.
I did 20 reps with 140kg once and that was bad enough. I started to grey out by the end. With the belt and the body tension it's so hard to get enough oxygen on high rep deadlifts. 300kg for 15 is crazy.
I love doing high rep deadlifts. scared to get close to 1rm because I pull with intensity that will tear me up (very close to getting hernia), don't have a coach to explain or fix my weaknesses and I'm a bit paranoid. I was doing over 16,000lbs total volume in my DL workouts and went from barely able to DL 200lbs to 340x10 in 8 months - touch and go.
45x10
135x10
185x10
225x10
265x10
305x10
340x10
then just start backing down weight and stacking more volume
nice thing about volume work is you hit PRs every single workout. could be 5 rep PR or 20 rep PR, all that matters is a PR every workout 🙃
Difference is your natural this guy isnt
If you are deadlifting 1100 lbs or close to that, it kinda makes sense that you would be able to deadlift 600 for many reps even as much as 10-15, the guys just a beast
It has nothing to do with being natural or not LOL, he would still be elite if peds never even existed, it’s not how that works, he woudnt be doing 1100 lbs but he would still be at the top
What the hell is this obsession with him being a nurse. Haack is a chemist for fucks sake and I never heard you being so shocked with him being such a strong chemist lol.
Lol,Right!
Nurses typically work 12 hour shifts on their feet which is definitely not conducive to heavy training and makes it even more impressive
@@tyronejones4245 this
@@tyronejones4245 true
Eddie hall came 3rd in worlds strongest man whilst also working 10 to 12 hour days as a truck mechanic. Yes a nurse is on their feet most of the day, but the job isn't physically demanding like a construction worker, heavy vehicle mechanic etc is. I'm a regular mechanic and am on my feet 8 hours a day 5 days a week. You get so used to it that it's not even a thing anymore. We've had kids come in on their apprenticeships and they're wiped out for the first couple of weeks while they adjust but once they're used to it, it becomes normal. I go for a long walk with my wife who is an office worker and she's complaining her feet and legs are sore whereas I could do the whole walk again no problem.
Valid or not...everything above 1000lbs, convetional or sumo, with or without straps is brutal 😳
Strong boiii
Hafthor and Eddie used deadlift suits to lift their half-ton bars. A deadlift suit generally adds 40 kgF to your raw deadlift potential. I don’t know the elastic force of the bands this man used, but I follow the armwrestling sport and I know that armwrestlers usually use 20 kgF bands to train. So, if the bands used in that deadlift are comparable to the bands I’m used to seeing, the total up-force they apply to the bar is comparable to the effect of a deadlift suit. In conclusion, this man actually lifted 500 kg with strongman competition standards.
lol what? No, if he doesn't do it in competition standards, he didn't do it
Well, many people use to “cheat” someway when performing lifts in the gym and then publishing them. However, he has perfectly reproduced what we call competition standards.
He lifyed nothing unless its verified officially.
Beast!
I am equaly impressed and terrified
Crazy to think how many super strong/gifted people are in the world that will never be discovered as they have no urge to compete. 8 billions people on planet, makes you wonder.
Yeah there was a guy from Ireland who decided, in his home gym, to get to an elite level of Olympic weightlifting just for the lolz with no intention of ever competing.
I actually have a friend who did 501kg rack pull, RAW. With a belt off the racks.
Heavier plates on the outside, for extra bend, also.
More impressive than others 500 kgs sumo for sure!
Good videos
Outstanding lift.
Other than that - Those 25kg's on the ends do huge difference. He obviously knows that. But let's be honest, I would have made anything similar too, just to see if I can deadlift 500kg off the floor
I’ma male nurse as well but I can’t lift that much
Murse gang
Ah I assumed all male nurses could lift 500kg
Another Social network strongest man , lets see him on real stage.
A Superman 👍
Either way, the dude is strong. Not as strong as Eddie or Thor, but way closer than a man that size should be haha.
He's also using a bar with a lot of flex. Helps a bit off the floor. Still, very strong dude!
Not wanting to take away kudos for the lift, but just one of the differences in doing this in competition is that you do not get to have a video made when you are at your strongest. Have you ever headed to the gym thinking that you feel strong and when you get decide that it is not a day for lifting? Also, there is nobody to confirm the weights lifted in this video! OK, it is easy to doubt, but if this is real, then why doesn't the guy enter world's strongest man?
just because he's good at deadlifts doesnt mean he'll be a good strongman
there's also the factor of not getting to choose your rest periods depending on the number of lifters on competition day.
But anyway, yea he may be able to do pretty on a deadlift only competition, but why would he spend his own money to enter a competition he doesn't care about. Dude's a nurse, he has stuff to do. Lifting heavy ass shit is just a hobby
@@justamustachewithoutaguy9370 a Hobby? If this is real it's the same as world Rekord. Nobody does this as hobby. Hafthor and Eddie bulked up to 200kg to be able to lift half a ton. Dedicated months to year of their life to be able to do this, and then comes a "natural" nurse and pulls that like nothing
@@guts8952 you have no clue what you’re taking about. First of all, this guy is open about his steroid usage, so you don’t have to do that “natural” bs to try to shame the man. Secondly, this is most definitely a hobby for him, since his main job is a nurse (a hobby he’s amazing at).
I'm impressed, but skeptical.
He doesnt seem like he has the same kind of mass Eddie or Hafthor do, it seems sus.
I also think this lift has been performed in a significantly easier way than Eddie’s record-setting lift. However, I’m not sure about a hypothetical comparison between this lift and Hafthor’s.
hypothetical comparisons don't work at sufficiently high weights
Why not?! You can evaluate a lift by looking at the fluency, the speed and the used technique.
He uses bands…
@@alessandroartemisio3457 I agree, he has used genetics, drugs and strength programming, Eddie used genetics, drugs, ego and food!!!
@@Procharmo Strongman CANT use roids my man... they are "Supposed" to be natty.
in the video I cannot see the bands??
They're hidden by the rack. Duh
Why do they always bring up the fact he’s a nurse? Kudos for having a job like everybody else.
he works double hour shifts on his feet, you probably don't
@@holliswilliams8426 Plenty of people have jobs where they’re on their feet, but how come their job title is never mentioned? 🤔
Because women complain so much on that line of work that many people have seriously started to believe it suuuuuuch hard work when it's not.
@@smurfvolvo They’re literally just on their feet though. Then they complain their feet hurt when they wear these high cushion shoes that actually make your feet hurt worse because you’re babying them.
@@holliswilliams8426 How many days each week? Three or four? I know quite a few people who work long hours five or six days a week. And how do you know he's on his feet all the time. I work in a hospital and see nurses sitting down frequently, especially when charting. No disrespect to them, but the job hardly requires some superhuman level of energy.
Strong.
does he comepete?
Keep hearing and he's a nurse! Hahah what's it matter what job a guy has? It's what he eats and trains like that matters...
It's important because nurses generally have a demanding job that cuts into recovery. It's high praise to not be a full-time athlete and match up with elite level competitors - not while holding any other job, but a physically and psychologically demanding one at that.
@@farazabro4566 pfffft this world is full of softies these days, men graft and train and still get stacked, demanding job nurse, don't make me laugh 😂 try working all day in a powerstation then training,
@@english3618 bro you haven't worked in a hospital before, have you, let alone a 10 hour shift? Try just doing some volunteer work in wards at a hospital, it's not nice.
Yes I work 12 hour plus shifts in a hot powerstation then still go home and train, and your telling me a nurse has a hard time hahahaha, what kind of men are you?
I think he can lift 500 kgs and to show it , he should ditch the bands, walk on the Giants live platform without a suit and belt and blow peoples minds. I think it should be in competition to disband any pendants who want to invalidate the lift
but wait what is wrong with straps? isn't allowed? i dont understand
strap is accepted for strongman
Bands, not straps. The bottom of the lift is being assisted by bands.
@@emilgallier i really can't see those bands, am i blind? 0:25 , are those bands hidden between the rack?
@@lerekt7818 that's what I think, the rack is in the way so you can't see the bands.🤷
Vabbè ormai 500kg li fanno tutti😂
Awesome. Now do it at sanctioned competition
Why would he do it sanctioned when everybody pulling 950+ are using steroids?
That went up quick like he can do 525 kilos. If real.
I would love to see a cross-fitter put up 300 kg
and this freak never wears a belt 😅 this is so crazy strong. How much does he weigh? I think he's also very light, for that kind of performance 🤔
I don't wear a belt, you get used to not using it after a while and then it's actually easier as you don't have to worry about it.
He wears the belt under his shirt
is there even bands though? doesn't look like there's any bands
I think the bands are hidden behind the power rack. Watch the holes in the rack as he lifts. You can see the view thru the rack being obstructed as the bar goes up
Who can see the band???
Are you sure it was a 500kg lift? I thought it was like 425 or 450kg
Check his Instagram. available in the description
Guess it helps that due to his job he has easy access to juice lol
You said it involved bands straight away no it’s not legit haha but it’s impressive
It's a load of balls
It’s only valid of his dad weighed the plates
It’s not really so important to say that it’s odd to see a nurse lifting that much….
I mean, if he was a chef, you can still say- he can deadlift more than any chef I’ve seen😅
It’s as valid as Thor’s lift
Thor had officials to weigh everything and berify the lift, this guy had nothing.
No he did not thors dad weighed the plates and only him look it up
Doesn't matter. The man's in the gym having a go when a lot of people do silly cable movements trying to look good for tic toc b.shit
15 Reps with 300kg....Bro 99.99% can't do that with 100kg
Beast
Most people who lift can hit 100 kg for 15. That is not difficult to attain for the average man.
Fake news, 100kg for 15 reps is stronger then like 60% of the average guy. So that means most can achieve this.
I also think Jamal Browner should put on another 10-20 kgs of body weight , walk onto the giants live platform and pull 510 kgs with hook grip and just a belt . That’s a possible in my book
thats nowhere near reality
You can clearly see he has bands attached to the bar…that is why he is inside the cage. Not to shi*t on this dude as it is still a massively heavy lift… but just not raw 500 kg…
Is he natty
crazy that he is a nurse that uses steroids
I lifted 500 just go see 500 grams
yeah sure no way this is fake i also deadlift 500kg regulary
Jesus christ
Its Jason Bourne
its fake/ cmon
Was the great Magnus Ver Magnusson there to judge the lift and verify the weights, as he was with Thor’s deadlift, and the other Strong Series deadlifts? No, well then it’s NOT the same.
You dont need anyone specific, just a trained official to verify everything.
Lol
the straps make it invalid
can you teach us how to pull 500kg without straps?
@@Rafs0n just grab the bar then pull, easy
@@QDStrength lmao are you clueless? hang from a bar for few minutes, then we'll talk
All the lifts over 500 used straps
I am pretty sure this guy only wears those clothes to hide that he has somehting else underneath. Still strong though - but why would he not compete and take a world record if that was real?
Lmao no way this is real

I think it's fake

Straps? Not legal dead lift. Ego lift
¿?
Power lifting isn’t the only strength sport
Braindead comment.
@@AdornedProduct1 even powerlifters use straps for a lot of their training
it's legal for strongman competition
This lift was done under the same standards as Hafthor and Eddie's lift?
Where's the sanctioned official ref then? Weighing of plates? Etc
Yeah, Thor lifted at his home gym, Eddie in competition. Not the same conditions by any standard! 🤣
