I'm from New York City and I was in both of his first two solo concerts he ever did here in New York City. The first time he was here in person singing was in 1990 as part of a concert with other singers. But, in 1991, he had his first solo concert in the then newly renovated Paramount Theater (formerly The Felt Forum in Madison Square Garden). Then, he returned to the main arena of MSG in 1993 during his concert tour called by the same name as his horoscope Aries. In that concert was were the incredible moment happened. He sang his famous song called Sera Que No Me Amas. When he finished singing that song, all of us started to applaud him as usual. But, something magical happened during that applause. No one wanted to stop clapping. We clapped for about 3 and a half minutes nonstop in a very very loud way. I know 3 1/2 minutes doesn't sound like much. But, if you would have been there, you would have had goose bumps because it became something spiritual. I can't explain it more than that way. Even my girlfriend at the time that I took to the concert looked at me and we could read each other perfectly. We knew we were watching a young 23 year old guy becoming a legend right before our eyes. We New Yorkers are a tough crowd. But, when you win us over in a legitimate way, we are loyal for life as many of his fans are all over the world. Frank Sinatra said, if you can make it there (New York), you can make it anywhere. The Chairman was right.... and that night Luis Miguel solidified himself as a true adult icon after being a child star for many years before that.

I am soon starting my journey to pursue electrical engineering and medicine and I would love to test different frequency of songs and how it effect energy pathways of the body also called meridians in Chinese medicine.

Luis Miguel is a legend for the music in Spanish, he recorded his first album at the age of 12, he will be 50 in April, and he hasn't stopped working since then. He won his first Grammy at the age of 15. He has sold over 100 million albums, his career is amazing. I saw him live on his last tour last year and he is still on top, his voice keeps getting better and better. Luis Miguel is a machinery vocalist...His tone of voice. Different color voices in that song.
7 high C5 and many Bb4 in the improvisation part. Rounded, clear, powerful high chest voice, natural with no effort.

He's relaxed, powerful, and freaking gorgeous with his Spaniard-Italian-Puertorrican-Mexican yumminess.
Luis Miguel was friend of Luciano Pavaroti and Pavaroti once said that Luis Miguel's voice was like a Stradivarius. Luis Miguel started singing at the age of 12 and until this days he has that powerful, beautiful voice and he continues to sing the songs with this feeling and strength as if it were the first time. Finally someone said it, that Luis miguel and Freddie Mercury have kind of the same range, fun fact there's a Netflix series about Luis Miguel's life approved by Luis miguel and the actor said he had to change his range to Luis Miguel's and it was the same as Freddie Mercury's range which I've only heard him say it until I watched this video, but what I find amazing is that you noticed before he even started to belt the notes. Which makes a lot of sense about the structure of ye head and the mouth being very big. Thank you for reacting to this! Luis miguel is almost 50 now and still sings the highest notes but I wonder why in concerts he says he gets a big headache when he belts notes like a high B. I wonder if those same frequencies can cause headaches the more you do it and specially since he's been singing since he was twelve years old. Im sorry for the large comment but your reaction to this video was very unique.

Freddie Mercury's range was C3-C#5
Could he hit higher than a C5? Of course, using Reinforced Falsetto and hitting notes with less than a second (maybe 0.5s) like a B5, D5, E5 (if you check for other notes, are lies, because doesn't have that shape, power or that sound of resonance characteristic)
Luis Miguel's Range as an adult is A2-E5
He has hit C6, D6 and F5 using reinforced falsetto
Now... When he was a kid, He have had hit Eb6's, E6's and F6's
So, no dude.
They don't have the same kinda range dude... Luis Miguel has more complex range from lowest to higher notes than Freddie or anyone.
There are few people who have such an insane range like LuisMi and there is no one (human) who has the same or kinda range of Dimash Kudaibergen, Adam Lopez and Nicola Sedda.
Luis Miguel A2 - E5 alive as an adult. That E5 did it walking around with no effort. He can go higher. 1990 concert.
Luis Miguel Age 16 = F5, C6, D6 Eb6 E6 F6 reinforced falsetto. Alive!!!! Those 6's are superhuman notes coming from a male.

@@yamilbrindis well just hearing it from the actor who actually had to study his actual range with a vocal coach plus luis miguel's producers by his side, they all know how his range was. FM and LM they have a different timber of course but the range doesnt mean someone sounds the same. i was also not saying who was better? but if you put them in a scale of range they can hit about the same notes.
I first found out about Luis Miguel while watching the movie Speechless in the early 90s and although I didn’t know Spanish I was amazed at his voice. Fast forward to today, I have 10+ albums of his, seen him in concert thrice, and my wife and I will be seeing him every time he comes back to Dallas now that we live here. Luis Miguel is without a doubt my favorite singer!! Thanks for the react vid and please do more of LuisMi!! Some other options are La Bikina, No Se Tu, Hasta Que Me Olvides, Por Debajo De La Mesa, Amarte Es Un Placer, Me Niego A Ester Solo, Suave, Suena, and Hasta El Fin. Most of your subscribers have no idea that they just watched a legend who’s known as the Sun of Mexico. He’s a once in a generation talent and you need to check him out more. He’s been singing since he was 10 and his vocals are still amazingly strong. If you ever get a chance to see him in concert, don’t think, just go!

Yes... is a mix of images of different concerts. The audio belongs to the images with the red tie and black suit, in the concert of Auditorio Nacional of Mexico, where he made around 16 concerts CONSECUTIVE! without lose his voice. And the images with a big crowd in a big stadium is in Argentina, in River or Velez Stadium.. 80.000, 100.000..? I don't know. Luis Miguel is specially interesting for a vocal coach, cos he is the perfect example of how to survive to voice changes, cos he is famous since he was 11 y.o. , lots of concerts, different styles,.. You should watch his video "LUIS MIGUEL - HIGH NOTES - BEST VOCALS (G4-D5)" to see his vocal range and "Luis Miguel Mejores Vocales (Parte 2)" to see his evolution along the years.

Yes AR. You are right there were 80,000 fans in this concert. Unfortunately, in those days the lights were always low in his concerts whenever the cameras panned to the audience. So, it's hard to see the actual massive sea of people that would attend his concerts.
Girl you just opened the door to the best singers in the world. Mexico has so much to offer in this field. I am blessed to know Spanish and to be able to listen to this living legend called Luis Miguel. I just saw him last year in Las Vegas. Amazing concert.

It’s a huge compliment when one such as Luis Miguel is compare to the late great Freddie Mercury. It doesn’t really come to surprise seeing his much successful career as an artist and an icon as well. 45+ years as an artist tells you a lot about him.

That's el Auditorio Nacional (The National Auditorium) in Mexico City. It has the capacity to ten thousand people. This isn't just one night. This is a mix of 24 following nights (you can see that in the way that Luis Miguel's clothes change; so fast). It was a group of many concerts that he did on Aries tour. Those concerts were interesting because Luis Miguel did 24 nights, one after the other. Two years later he broke his own record, making 33 following concerts. Can you imagine that? Thirty three times ten thousand.

In Mexico City Luis Miguel gives 20-25 concerts with 10,000 assistants in each one (auditorio nacional) and when he goes to another countries in Latin America he gives concerts in soccer stadiums (full concerts)

I am a big fan of Luis Miguel since he was 12 years and I was 9 I had followed his musical career all my life and attended his concerts too. He is the biggest start iMexico and probably Latin America, in Mexico we call him “the sun of Mexico” this video I believe was recorded in Chile in the prime of his career and honesty my favorite stage of his musical trajectory and of course he was so gorgeous back then. His voice is amazing and so amazing that he never wanted to do the crossover in English he decided to sing in Spanish and sing about love and for women. This man is the best I listen to him almost every day of my life ... yes a true fan right here ☀️
Being an American of Latino descent I like to think I have been blessed by 2 cultures. In my lifetime (52yrs) and imo the 2 best "crooners" I have seen are Luis Miguel and Luther Vandross.

There's a reason why Luis Miguel is nicknamed "El Sol de Mexico" or "Mexico's Sun", because no other star shines as bright as he does, at least in the Spanish speaking world that is! He is without a shadow of doubt, the greatest Spanish singing icon of the last 40 years. He's proudly represented Mexico and all Spanish speaking countries through his music. In the years that Pop singers like Enrique Inglesias and Ricky Martin did their respective crossover into singing in English, the Spanish speaking media clamored Luis Miguel to do the crossover as well because he was truly the one we all wanted for the rest of the world to know who Luis Miguel was, but he refused to do so even though he also speaks perfect English; he famously stated during that time that if people wanted to listen to his music, it had to be in Spanish because he considered himself a true ambassador of our language. There's been many people that say that the only comparisons in English would be if you combine Elvis Presley and Frank Sinatra; you get Luis Miguel; simply a living legend!
Great reaction. React to "Quiero" is a more pop funk sound and still amazing what he can do with his voice. 120 million album sold worldwide can't be wrong. The reason of the different outfits was because his label put together a concert back then in a VHS with 16 concerts that he did in the same place "Auditorio Nacional", kind of a Madison Square Garden, in Mexico City. He performed this 16 concerts back to back in August 1994. So even the cameras look very 90s and the sound of the music as well.

And talking about Freddie Mercury..yes he had a very powerful raspy voice but not as sweet as Luis Miguel...well different styles but Luis Miguel it's something unique,woman's get crazy with this gentleman always dressed perfect,no broken jeans, sports shoes,tee shirts...he always impressed with it's formal dress style,a real man.Just ask Mariah Carey that was he's biggest fan for long time...

This video is from a series of concerts at the same venue in the 90's he's in his 50's now. But u can video of him as far back to when he was 11. He 's always been known for his improvisation and power. He went thru a point that he suffered from severe tenitis which affected his performances.

Esta es una producción que se hizo durante los conciertos de 1994 y 1995. El video es una edición de varios conciertos de esa gira, por eso se lo ve con diferentes vestuarios. El público que se ve, tan numeroso, es de los conciertos en Argentina, realizado en estadios, donde concurren más de 40.000 personas. Muchas de estas presentaciones son en escenarios cerrados, como el Auditorio Nacional de México, pero en Argentina por la cantidad de gente que convoca es necesario que sea en un espacio mucho más grande. En algunas ocasiones se ha presentado 8 veces consecutivas en el mismo estadio y con gira por varias ciudades de Argentina. En el auditorio de México ha hecho más de 30 presentaciones consecutivas en algunas giras. Es realmente un fenómeno desde 1982 y tiene una calidad vocal insuperable!
