Een ideale vertolking van dit Mozart-juweeltje, waarbij ik precies hetzelfde gevoel van "Dit is het! Zo moet het!" kreeg als vele jaren geleden in Vredenburg. Het moet in 2001 zijn geweest, met ditzelfde vioolconcert. Het was mijn eerste kennismaking met een jonge violiste waarvan ik tot dat ogenblik nog nooit had gehoord, Janine Jansen. En zij speelde Mozart zoals ik het nooit eerder had gehoord: technisch volmaakt, spatzuiver, puur, licht, transparant, bescheiden, dienstbaar, teder, en tegelijk volledig ín control'. Een onvergetelijke ervaring. En nu is hier Sylvia Huang, en opnieuw dat gevoel van ontroering en dankbaarheid.

Sylvia Huang est premier violon de l'Orchestre royal du Concertgebouw à Amsterdam. Elle est lauréate de la finale du Concours musical international Reine Élisabeth de Belgique 2019 et depuis le 15 juin 2022, elle est désignée pour le poste de premier violon de l’Orchestre symphonique de la Monnaie. Depuis 2015, elle joue sur un Carlo Ferdinando Landolfi de 1751 prêté par la Fondation RCO5.
Prachtig en perfect uitgevoerd. En zo ontspannen vertolkt, terwijl het tempo soms best snel is. En leuk om zo te spelen met het gezicht naar de collega's. Hulde en dank !

It’s actually not that unusual for soloists to play the tutti part with the orchestra especially for Baroque and early classical period works.
