As much as I like our country to be noticed as Proud and the pride of Filipinos, I do agree that the content seemed an attack to other countries. We may be prideful, but also humble to know our limits. Panget lang tignan at maramdaman para sa ibang bansa na kanyang pinag gawan ng content.
As a Pinay I don't think so. Rather it helps me understand why we're hailed as such when it comes to work and skills. Although it may sound offensive, I think the better reactors should be people from the said countries. Voicing out what they could improve, what aren't facts etc.
I'm a 64-year-old Filipino-American born and raised in the Philippines, but I've been in the US for 41 years. I appreciate your click-bait attempt to entice us to become subscribers. The neutral "English accent" isn't very accurate. Embarrassingly, only about 20 percent are at best no-hard accent English speakers. "We" aren't also 100% aware of proper grammar, and I find myself having to translate to Tagalog when speaking to Philippine-based call centers. Your reasons why "my"country can't be "beat" by 15 countries can be summarized into one-third of the entire video content. If you're using an AI (Artificial Intelligence) app, consider switching to the organic PI (Permant Intelligence) one. Two minor points on Filipinos' "nosebleed" English: A. "Our" use of gender pronouns confuses others when using he/him for she/her interchangeably; B. "Our" incorrect usage of prepositions is also grossly frustrating, to say the least. My comments are directed at no one. Bash if you must. As you think, you are. The best reason why Filipinos are good is because of our hearts being in the right place. Hence, it trumps our language deficiency, etc. Mabuhay ang sambayanang Pilipino. 🇵🇭
This economic policy was hardly feasible fifty years ago. Before, the usual norm was to start with agriculture, then manufacturing. During those times, export of labor was unheard of. I remembered a colleagues masteral thesis of human resource export to the global market. What helped this excelence is its culture, history, values and education. This is difficult to replicate because it took decades to develop this feat!
@@alice_agogo Probably, but the fact that PH is still a developing country with high unemployment rate and extensive poverty, it is humanly natural to seek other opportunities not available in the country. Filipinos should already look at working overseas as AN OPTION with the way communicating internationally has become so easily accessible.
Medical field is where we Filipinos excel. The truth hurts. This is not boasting. As for OFWs ecellence let us give credit to the late Blas Ople and Ferdinand Marcos Sr for promoting and protecting OFW.
Remember: in the case of Vietnam v the Philippines, it is unfortunate because of economic difficulties at home that Filipinos have to search greener pastures elsewhere just to support their families back home, which results in the nurse - or engineering, seamen, domestic help - diaspora. Whereas, in Vietnam, it is different. Self-sufficiency has been the key ... their labor force has made them one of Southeast Asia's manufacturing hubs for textiles, aside from in other industries. (The only professions I could cite where others try to "copy Filipinos," but fail, sadly, is when it only comes to the arts & entertainment fields. Filipinos excel in international singing competitions, as well as in beauty pageants. And trying to copy or even beat Filipinos in those categories - at least among Southeast Asians - has been challenging, at best.)
This may create a division between Individuals mentioned on this video. Some may feel this an insult to their nationality. I'm sure this video is not created by a Filipino.
This doesn't seem like an insult, but more like a critic, which I think helps so that the country would do something, where they should improve and all. And I'm Filipino btw
I was overwhelmed when I watched this video... We Filipinos are really talented in terms of skillfull work force... Well trained and education educated.... Thanks for this video.
As a Filipino, I believe it’s important to focus on constructive criticism and positive solutions rather than highlighting failures. Failures or mistakes provide us with opportunities to learn and progress. Work together to improve and support each other, rather than bringing each other down
The diaspora of Filipinos, like that of many other nationalities, stems from a lack of opportunities in their home countries. Filipinos possess a strong sense of responsibility toward their families, driving them to work hard and send money home to cover basic needs and support the education of younger family members. For every overseas Filipino worker, uplifting their family is a top priority. Filipinos take great pride in their customs-love, faith, hard work, and honesty-which they carry with them abroad. These values are evident in the quality of their work and the relationships they build in their adopted communities and workplaces.
we are not competing but iy id good to know where we are in our position to the world ,our industries, labor and culture so that we can learn, improve and achieve and benefit from our endeavors for an excellent life..oh di ba? be positive thinker.
Competition is not bad. Everyone of us is competing with everybody as long as you don't drag someone down and I don't think these countries are competing in a bad way. With all due respect, we love our neighboring countries and it is a pride that this countries are making Filipinos as their model. Just compete in a clean and honest way. There is no sweet victory in a dirty war. Proud Filipino here.
I could not help but agree with you on this one. I am a Filipino and a Nurse as well. Had work in different countries like in the Middle east and I must say the hospital where I left is struggling to hire Filipino nurses as they do not have already because most of us migrated to US canada and UK after the pandemic. Plus the fact that the Ph government sets limit on sending Filipino Nurses globally is a struggle for most employers. Now that Europe is also interested to have the Filipino nurses after the success of Germany’s hiring Ph Nurses adding to their workforce. If they want to copy us they need to be truly compassionate hardworking resilent and adapt, I think that is an important thing as that what Filipinos are known for. As per the education our Nursing Board Exam in the Philippines is tough. Next to NCLEx of US after graduation and OSCE of UK in revalidas while studying Nursing. And also studying Medicine in the Philippines is no joke. 10 yrs is short ❤🎉
Thank you for sharing your detailed experience and insights! It’s inspiring to hear how Filipino nurses have left such a significant mark globally with their compassion, resilience, and hard work. The demand for Filipino healthcare professionals truly highlights the excellence of their training and dedication. Your pride in your profession and country is well-deserved-thank you for representing the Philippines so well worldwide! ❤🎉
And now, a lot of nurses who went to Canada and US wanted to go back in the middle east after getting US and Canadian citizenship, to have higher compensation and tax free.
Great content. Promotimg Philippines and Filipinos. Highlighting the lacking abilities of other countries which will help them to concentrate on their weakness to get improve.
It might be true what you said but remember all these 15 Countries have their own specialization and culture which are unique by themselves. And thus, we Filipinos respect them in high regard! God bless you. To Him we, Filipinos, give all the glory and honor. Amen.
As a Filipino, I don't see bad in this content as it exalts the true nature of Filipinos. But at the same time we don't compete with out neighbouring countries, we have our own unique cultures and we respect each other as southeast asians. We are just blessed with resilience, perseverance to succeed, global adaptability, good guidance and education, talents and drive to uplift the good of our country and families Though we are hailed as good workers locally and abroad, some makes it and some failed and that does not make us any different to other nationalities.
I agree that Filipinos are more preferred to work by foreign countries but we should always be humble and not arrogant. The way you are talking can hurt those 15 countries you have mentioned.Pls. talk in a nice way and not bragging to the point that it's annoying and exhibiting arrogance.
All of the citizens from these countries mentioned enjoys having Filipinos working WITH them. They help each other in all working hardships and adversities.
Dont please copy us for having the spirit of being poor and who are poor in spirit shall inherent the kigdom of god and dont followed us to be the exporter of not goods but real human beings
Stay humble everywhere we are not better than anyone else spread love not hate. Pray for each other so God will give us more blessings 🙌 🙏 and protections.
Bruh I think you're just racist and your click bait titles. You think Phillipines became like that over night? It took decades... More than half a century to get that way. Comparing to countries like Viet Nam who only had their trade embargo removed in what, the 90s?
I agree that Specialized Training programs and global accredited certifications plays a big rule of Philippines' success of generating overseas remittance BUT for me it's the people. Filipino workers and its mindset and our work ethics when we are abroad there's this kind of pride not for ourselves but for our country as well, we somehow carry that with us that in everything we do, we make sure to do our best & be responsible for the position trusted to us to handle so us not bring shame to our nation, family and onto ourselves. As an ex-OFW I worked with different nationalities before and often than not we are the ones left standing when the going gets tough & tougher! Sometimes it's frustrating coz we do absorb the workload of those colleagues who went missing in action without additional pay! Skills training and world class certifications become USELESS when the person's fortitude is not strong or developed. Perhaps the Filipinos mental fortitude is our edge than most citizens of the world. . .
THE BIGGEST PROBLEM OF FILIPINA NURSES FROM THE PHILIPPINES ARE THE ACCENT ... A LOT OF MY FRIENDS ARE DOCTORS AND NURSES WHO HIRE FILIPINA THAT GRADUATED IN THE US..UNITED STATES. HOWEVER, DUE TO CHEAPER COST THEY SOMETIMES HIRE IN THE PHILIPPINES. BUT A LOT OF FILAM NURSES GET JOBS IN THE US WHO THE AMERICANS HAVE NO PROBLEM UNDERSTANDING THEIR ACCENT.
Thank you for sharing your perspective! Accent can indeed be a challenge in some fields, but many Filipina nurses overcome it with dedication and adaptability. Their skills and hard work continue to make a significant impact worldwide, regardless of where they graduated. Great insights!
There are so many Filipino nurses already working in Europe and america..so that means accent is not a barrier.we Filipinos are just human..remember...practice makes perfect.
For me there's no need this kind of comparisons. It's simply arrogance. Filipinos had been colonised by Americans so they have the edged among these countries when it comes to English proficiency.
@Mnptb001 are you saying that Filipinos are arrogant? Indians and Indonesians were colonized by British during the 18 to 20th century. What are you talking about? This is statistically facts regarding globalization workforce of each neighboring country. Unfortunately, while other countries vomit these conquestors culture the Philippines adapted and emersed it in their culture. In the process, Filipinos were able to used it as a tool and it doesn't just happened one night it is a long LONG process to where the Philippines pioneered in training and certification in many aspect and levels of workforces. You have to understand why some countries have difficulty in penetrating global workforce scenario. This is not Philippines being arrogance this is Philippines setting a standard to follow.
No no no. You misread my points. I said these kind of coparisons is not commended for, it sounds arrogant and put these countries down which I think should not be. With these comparisons put Filipinos in a pedestal. It made me feel uncomfortable.
@@Mnptb001 it made you uncomfortable because its true, there's nothing wrong in accepting deficiency even Philippines is not perfect only on some areas are we slightly excel but in some areas we are trully at the bottom, and our government is putting its effort in researching with the help of our neighboring country who exceled in that certain field. You have to keep an open mind and look at the big picture and not jealousy cloud your mind.
Because English Language is widely use for international conversation, Perhaps one of the advantages and we could also call it blessings in disguise factor for Philippines is, when we were colonized by the Americans for almost half the century, english language were used as a medium to teach students in schools until today. Just imagine if Americans did not come and colonize the country. Spanish Language might be the second language for Filipinos today.
The content equates both positive and negative for both countries,… But let this be a challenge to all countries to achieve their goals and prepare the mind sets of their citizens to improve themselves, be competitive, resourceful and not to be dependent solely on their government. The positive changes comes from each and everyone, though there are difficulties along the way the perseverance and commitment, hard work, patience and determination will only lead us into nothing but success!!! We are all brothers and sisters and we should exert effort to help each other in the most positive ways. ❤️🇵🇭
I agree. Filipinos are a workforce to be reckoned with. We are highly adaptable, hospitable, and resilient. Although, we are still alike other nationalities --- we may have the best people to work it, we also have the worst ones.
English was international languages. Communication was important to interact others foreign nation.♥️♥️♥️ Why Philippines was a international worker. They not afraid to communicate a foreign people's.🥰
What this video isn't saying is the disappointing state of the Philippines: Our number 1 export is OUR PEOPLE. With a government so corrupt and with our own industries not capable of competing with global markets, the only thing left competitive is the people. You want proof? The Philippines is the country where the International Rice Research Institute is located. And yet, recent actions by the Government has it so that in order to meet rice demands of its people, we now have to import rice from Thailand and Vietnam, neighboring countries whose rice farming techniques were developed by learning from us years ago. Filipinos are world class? Damn right they are. Because thanks to the Marcos Government's killing of our industrial might in the 80s by giving our industry winners to oligarchs who mismanaged them, there isn't that many opportunities in the local job markets to rise out of poverty. You might as well get out of the country and earn dollars. Heck, earning $4 an hour for Americans is miserable because of the very high cost of living in the US. In the Philippines, you make $10 per DAY if you're a minimum wage earner in the capital. Give a Filipino $4 an hour, and that Filipino worker, if still single, would be buying an iPhone in a couple of months. Filipinos from poor families want out. We want out of our shitty 3+ hours commute to and from work in a country with one of the worst traffic in the world, we want out of paying taxes for dismal services, we want out of working jobs where we do phenomenally but is paid but a tiny fraction of what our counterparts do in another side of the globe.
Please do not compare the Philippines to their neighbors that can cause conflict and provocations to dislike this race . Encourage the good not look down on those other countries. Don’t let countries/race fight and dislikes their opposite . Constructive content will be much appreciated , never ever compare to make the others inferior . Being skilled/good at their work ethic is a personal traits not general . We are all individual people with owned a unique traits and personality . Please keep the peace and harmony. Do not compare Filipinos to other race/countries . It’s not nice and fair
Wow, the magnitude of message to every one watching this video is impeccable and gives a strong impact. Thank u so much and watching you from MANILA PHILIPPINES.❤❤❤❤
I don't understand what the point of this content. You can't compare the Philippines to other countries because every country has its own uniqueness and specialty that the Philippines doesn't have.
This is so wrong! As a Filipino, this patronizing video makes me cringe. It makes the opinion appear as if it's a fact. Ok lang Sabihin mahusay ang mga Pinoy pero wag naman at the expense of other countries/nationalities. It can elicit ill feelings towards the Filipinos from the people of those countries/nationalities that are portrayed as copycats. This is uncalled for. Ang yabang at insensitive. Hindi na kinonsider ang feeling ng ibang nationalities at ang posibleng backfire sa mga Pinoy.

Thank you for this kind and honest vidz but i think you should clear it up that filipinos are not competing to ALL nationality workers it will create hate n misundrstanding
Very interesting take. But consider this. Vietnamese refugees and other nationalities like Japanese and Koreans etc who became migrants in English speaking countries cant compete with Filipino migrants and English speaking locals for jobs, so what happens is that they start their own businesses and become successful entrepreneurs. After 20 years, they are the ones employing filipinos. Most (not all) of those migrants who got jobs straight away, are still working for a company and have become comfortably well off but are still salaried workers, and didnt get the skills to set up or manage their own businesses due to lack of time, as they are busy working for someone else. Filipinos should aim to be entrepreneurs and employers of other nationalities, not other nationalities' employees.
Well put together. Philippines having English at school because of United stated is a bonus for finding a job. Now Filipinos in return should buy United States vehicles not Toyota. But Filipinos failed miserably to thanks United stated for their independence and chasing the Japanese out of Philippines 😢

Exactly. Now our neighbors will friggin hate us.
Indian speak good English but their accent is still Indian
true
@@shLabprintI agree the only thing they lack was their Indian accent, but I highly appreciated thier ability in speaking English.
They are highly talented scammer so their english is better than pinoy😂😂😂😂
hindi rin..kahit sa pang i scam alam mo na Indian sila😅@@tambayirosapurokharag2581
This should make filipinos proud..thank you for your content..
God Bless the Filipino workers😊
We are working for the betterment of our world.each country has its own contributions to make this world a better place
It's Marcos and Ople band aid solution. We became the land of maids during Marcos Sr

Thank you for enjoying the content! It’s great to have viewers from the Philippines! 🇵🇭🎉
Its just what Philippine National Anthem said LUPANG HINIRANG or Land of Chosen that the ability and Strategy is Capabilities
Medical field is where we Filipinos excel. The truth hurts. This is not boasting. As for OFWs ecellence let us give credit to the late Blas Ople and Ferdinand Marcos Sr for promoting and protecting OFW.
Thank you so much for the highlight of our country Philippines 🎉❤ GODBLESS 🙏🙏🙏❤️
Thank you for your kind words! It’s a pleasure to highlight the beauty and talent of the Philippines. God bless you too! 🎉❤🙏
Thank you for highlighting unique Filipino traits and strengths to make it the country of choice for investors and investments
Very proud Filipino here, thank you very much to you hoping for more vlog about the philippines,God bless you
PRAISE GOD FOR US-WONDERFUL, HARD WORKING, LOYAL, JOYFUL, GRATEFUL FILIPINOS!!! CONTINUE TO SHINE MY DEAREST FILIPINOS!!!
This may create a division between Individuals mentioned on this video. Some may feel this an insult to their nationality. I'm sure this video is not created by a Filipino.
Though there will be some. Not a big majority though. Because if it is a fact, then why be insulted?
This doesn't seem like an insult, but more like a critic, which I think helps so that the country would do something, where they should improve and all.
And I'm Filipino btw
It's our nature as workers.
Filipinos is loving caring, hospitality, always smile hard working
Thanks for sharing ❤ watching from Sydney Australia 🇦🇺 🇵🇭
Thank you for watching and supporting from Sydney! Sending warm regards to you in Australia! ❤🇦🇺🇵🇭
Now I understand why many Thais have a cross eyed over many Filipinos and the Philippines itself
we are not competing but iy id good to know where we are in our position to the world ,our industries, labor and culture so that we can learn, improve and achieve and benefit from our endeavors for an excellent life..oh di ba? be positive thinker.
Watching from Philippines🇵🇭
For sure applying as a Janitor in the Philippines at least College level 😂
😂😂😂,,, where as here in Hongkong those who have disability orders they hired as a crew in fast foods, here no discrimination. Only in the Philippines😅
This made me appreciate the hard trainning i had during my school days in the phillippines.
In Australia some companies acknowledge the Filipino welders as the best in the world
Agree , nice content and thank u for that , but we need to spread love love love

Great content.
Promotimg Philippines and Filipinos. Highlighting the lacking abilities of other countries which will help them to concentrate on their weakness to get improve.
Yah, I've noticed that in UAE or around Mid East countries, Taiwan & Singapore. Very true & swear ✌️
Thank you for sharing your observation! It’s always interesting to hear perspectives from different regions. Appreciate your input! ✌️

We are just blessed with resilience, perseverance to succeed, global adaptability, good guidance and education, talents and drive to uplift the good of our country and families
Though we are hailed as good workers locally and abroad, some makes it and some failed and that does not make us any different to other nationalities.
Its true most five star cruises hired filipinos like my husband...They appreciate how compwtitive filipinos we are..
WE don't compete with any country, it happen that we are just like this naturally.
This is subjective comparison for scratching Filipinos’ back for clicks for content monitization

absulotely true but philippines did not compete to other country becouse philippines is very hamble and flexible
Perhaps the Filipinos mental fortitude is our edge than most citizens of the world. . .
absolutely true
Thank you for agreeing! Glad you resonate with the content. 😊
They cannot compete Pilipino honest in time of work and most is hard working
I love the contents. All true LOL!
Thank you so much! I'm glad you’re enjoying the content-it means a lot. Stay tuned for more! 😊
Filipinos are not perfect. Don’t look for supermen and superwomen from the Philippines. You might just find a few.
Thank you for sharing your perspective! Accent can indeed be a challenge in some fields, but many Filipina nurses overcome it with dedication and adaptability. Their skills and hard work continue to make a significant impact worldwide, regardless of where they graduated. Great insights!
Accent has got nothing to do if whether or not you can or you cannot do your job properly..
I think you are jealous in filipino!😂😂😂
Being uncomfortable doesn't mean jealous. I don't understand what you think. You put these words into my mouth which are not really true.
@Mnptb001 is it? You can put it on other term but end result is the same. Sort it out yourself.
It's so arrogant interpretation don't you dare to say that
Filipinos are excellent in English language and work ethics are excellent.
I agree. Filipinos are a workforce to be reckoned with. We are highly adaptable, hospitable, and resilient. Although, we are still alike other nationalities --- we may have the best people to work it, we also have the worst ones.
New graduate doctors and nurses , physical therapy going to abroad. So no nurses and doctors much left in the Philippines
Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Indonesia, Cambodia, Laos, Pakistan, Malaysia , Timor Leste, Mongolia, Thailand, Maldives
But please be very carefull when SIP-SIP pinoys start their BS Act...just my opiniion...
English was international languages. Communication was important to interact others foreign nation.♥️♥️♥️ Why Philippines was a international worker. They not afraid to communicate a foreign people's.🥰
I like your article. Thanks for that. My frustration is the poster boy that you put there negates the accomplishments of Filipinos.
Sad for Philippines. "Brain Drain". Good for Filipino individuals. God Bless to all OFW's
Thanks to Sr FM Marcos brain and great job who put the Filipino to work over seas.
We definitely not competing with other countries
All are true ❤❤❤
Thank you for your kind words! I’m so glad you found the content valuable. ❤❤❤
Simple just humble 🙏
Being
skilled/good at their work ethic is a personal traits not general . We are all individual people with owned a unique traits and personality . Please keep the peace and harmony. Do not compare Filipinos to other race/countries . It’s not nice and fair
As a Filipino.. we don't know this guy 🥴
Don't you ever try, you're life becomes miserable.
Who 's person that is in his right mind would try to copy a filipino?
This is so wrong! As a Filipino, this patronizing video makes me cringe. It makes the opinion appear as if it's a fact. Ok lang Sabihin mahusay ang mga Pinoy pero wag naman at the expense of other countries/nationalities. It can elicit ill feelings towards the Filipinos from the people of those countries/nationalities that are portrayed as copycats. This is uncalled for. Ang yabang at insensitive. Hindi na kinonsider ang feeling ng ibang nationalities at ang posibleng backfire sa mga Pinoy.
BAkit PILIPINO ba Ang nagsasabi niyan?
I'm proud of my people around the world representing the Philippines. Go Pilipinos Go! As OFWs, we lifted our reputation and proved it that we're capable shoulder to should working with progressive and productive countries. I ❤ the 🇵🇭 Mabuhay tayong lahat.
Anyway you are entitled to your own observation.😂😂
Mas ok pa na pinoy baiting sabihin mo mag agree pa ako.😅
True😊❤❤❤
Well put together. Philippines having English at school because of United stated is a bonus for finding a job. Now Filipinos in return should buy United States vehicles not Toyota. But Filipinos failed miserably to thanks United stated for their independence and chasing the Japanese out of Philippines 😢
