I can't wait to do this project at my Christmas Tea! It will be such a fun activity! Thanks for sharing this DIY Christmas Swag!
Leslie Reynolds Great idea!!
Great idea!
Laura! Your video was such an inspiration. I invited my 80 year old mother and my 86 year old mother-in-law to make a wreath. I collected various greens and pine as well as holly. We used the 15” dollar tree green pine wreaths as our base and of course I didn’t pass in the wired ribbon either. The 9’ lengths make a very generous bow. I picked up some red berries for accent. I will try to add the pictures I took of them holding their creations. Neither could believe they could look so nice!

Very pleasant to watch as always. No extra filler talk, fake smiles, posing for cameras or other annoying stuff I watched on other tutorials (and could not watch more than 2 mins). I enjoy her natural style of showing us stuff.
That is a great project but when you placed it on that weathered door - Perfection !! It is the perfect decoration for that door!
Agreed! So pretty
YES ! ! ! 👍
Another gorgeous project. Never thought I could be giving YOU hints, but here is one I learned years ago from a florist, if when you have a wire to tie a bow, instead of twisting the wire, you twist he bow holding the wire tight, it is much easier and the wire ends up tighter that way. Hope I made sense, just twist the bow, not the wire.
Especially liked seeing it on the shed door. It's perfect!
I love this idea! You could use this same swag for different occasions too! Flowers put in for mothers day or fall leaves for autumn. Oh the possibilities!
This was an awesome video! The editing and explaining how it was done was perfect. Great job as always, thanks Laura and Aaron :)
New swag on an old door; just beautiful!
Lovely. I am so much loving your Christmas decor videos. Now I can't wait to see what Aaron does with the lightings this year. Whatever you guys do you do the best. 😇😇
What a quick fun project, may have to do this with our parent group and I can even do it with the children in the classroom!! Thanks so much for my morning coffee video!!
Thanks for sharing this Laura, it looks so decorative and cheap to make.
I actually love it as much as a wreath if not more! So pretty how the winterberry just makes it pop.
Awesome job arranging it.🎄❤️
Perfect door for the swag!!!
Thanks for all the great tips while working on the swag. I just made my florist bow for my tree topper..WhewHoo it worked
What a beautiful project! Such a nice alternative to wreaths - it's good to change things up a bit now and then!
So pretty! You make a person feel like they can actually do these things. You're a great teacher and I just love your house.
Love your enthusiasm . Such a pleasure to watch
Oh so pretty and creative. I absolutely love it and will be making one from my evergreen trees. Thanks for the idea. Im thinking of making two and placing them end to end for the cemetery grave blanket. That would be so neat being homemade. 🎄🎄😇😇💕💕
Beautiful! Your talent is so wonderful. Thank you so much for sharing I look forward to your next video. 🌿🍃🎄😊
It's amazing! 💞💞 The berries and bow make it POP! 💥 Thanks for the tutorial!
So beautiful! I always save the branches that we cut off the bottom of our tree and incorporate them into my decorations around the house. I haven't done anything with them yet this year and I LOVE this! Thank you!
I love all the X'mas decors that you did. Thanks so much for sharing your Christmas ideas. 🥰🥰
Love your channel, love your personality, and always love the end product.. tfs. Cheers

Beautiful! Looks phenomenal on the weathered door and is a great accent to the red siding.
Beautiful by itself, but placing it on that door elevates the look. Love it ❤🎄
Beautiful! I can imagine how wonderful it smells too.
This is the best video I've seen on diy swag. You made it simple and to the point. Thanks for sharing!!
There's absolutely NOTHING that you can't do, Laura! Your swags are very pretty. I love them! Merry Christmas!🎄❤
Beautiful! I trimmed branches yesterday to make a front door swag but had never made one before. I’m so glad I saw your video. I’ll get started on mine tomorrow. Thanks so much!:)

She always has great ideas!
I just love the thing make it's so natural and real.
Hi. I would just like to thank you for these videos. I've been making wreaths for q couple of years for myself and my mum. This year a few friends have asked me to make one for them too. Finding your videos has made it easier for me. I was making it really hard work for myself!
From Liverpool, England
O my, I LOVE your door. The swag is beautiful as well.
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this project. I don't see many wreathes or swags on doors here in Australia as Christmas time which is a shame because they're so beautiful. We can't see our front entry door from the street but we have two pillars either side of a garage where a swag at Christmas time would be a perfect touch! Thank you Laura. P.S. I think they're also a nice gift idea for someone who doesn't really need anything much else or just as a small Xmas time gesture to a neighbour who you may not exchange gifts with.
I usually buy round live wreaths but this project looked so much mor beautiful and will be making these instead!! Thank you Laura!
Thanks so much for an easy-to-understand tutorial...you've given me the confidence to do this myself!
Hi Laura and Aaron! The swag turned out beautiful! I will see if I can get some pine tree branches and I will use some rosemary too! Thanks for sharing! I will get the spray too,I didn't know about that!Hugs from Atlanta💞💞🎄🎄🎅😘
Laura! I made a swag for my front door. Thanks for the idea and instructions! You're the best!
That's so pretty and so easy to make. Thanks Laura!
Great instructions, beautiful swag. Thank you very much
I really love the simplicity of your swag...since I am lacking any pine trees in my garden, off to the Christmas tree lot, I go!!!
Oh what a beautiful swag.. you did such a wonderful job.. I’m so impressed and it came together without much fuss..I bet it smells wonderful too.. Thanks so much for sharing.. This is a project I would like to try.. Thanks again.. sending best wishes and Happy Holidays to
You and your loved ones❣️🎄
Your instruction is just what I need! Thank you
I love the Winterberry. I planted several in my yard. They were lush with berries. Unfortunately the birds enjoyed them before I could use for decorating. Guess I will plant more for next year. At least the birds were happy.
Wow...always impressive.. you are so sweet and talented..the videos you share bring joy..I and my friends will be making these on Sunday, sipping hot choclate and watching this video. Thank You!!!😊
Perfect place for the swag. 😊🌲🎄
Beautiful swag! Perfect for that door🎄💝🎄
Who would give a thumbs down? Don't be too jealous. This project is so beautiful and creative.
Love the combo of greens on this swag. The bow you were trying to remember the name of is called a sweetheart bow. 💚😊
What a beautiful result! So festive and quick, especially compared to making a wreath. I love to also add a few evergreen pieces, facing upward above the bow, to cover the mechanics of the command hook or whatever the swag is attached to. Swags are always an elegant addition to any door. BTW, I think I have watched almost every video you and Erin have made. Each one is uplifting and informative. I always learn something from each one. THANK YOU for sharing your gardening knowledge AND role model worthy family life.
Another beautiful project !
Great tutorial and Aaron awesome camera angles and editing. Beautiful swag!! I really appreciated the suggestion of getting the tree trimmings from tree farm, I'm going to do that.
Me too. I never thought to do that. There are so many where I live too..lol

Gorgeous, it looks amazing. Thanks for sharing. I noticed Russell coming to say hi too. Xx
Beautiful❣ I've always wanted to learn how to make a swag🎅🎁🎄🌲
Laura, love this! You made it look sooo easy!!
Love this! So pretty. Thank you.
Absolutely gorgeous!
L❤️V SWAG'S !!! HAVE ONE ON EACH OF OUR LANTERN'S ON EACH SIDE OF THE GARAGE- DOOR. THE ONE THAT YOU MADE, WAS PERFECT ON THE WHITE DOOR !!!
I might just have to give this project a go! Thanks for sharing!
I Love everything you do! Swags Are great for so many places!!!! Outside on a lampost, mailbox, end of porch railings.....and much quicker and easier than full wreath (I do love them and kissing balls as well) I found a great trick after making a Bunch of swags one year for gifts- I ran short on wire so I used ZIPTIES!!! What an Amazing Happy Accident! I use them for Big bow making Too! It's a great time saver Plus My poor Ol Achy hands are so much happier now! Happy Holidays! ;D
This looks like a project I can do. Thanks for sharing your ideas.
Beautiful and so easy to make. Thanks!
beautiful as all your projects are. thank you

This is stunning! I've done wreaths several times but will give this a go for sure 😍
Also, I think I've said it before - but I love playing 'Spot Russell' as I watch your videos! 😸
