When my daughter was very young, and we were very poor, I couldn't buy nice Christmas decorations. So we looked for pine branches, pine cones, holly, etc. and made our own. We had so much fun, and everything looked so beautiful, that 30 years later, we're still doing it even though we can afford things now. Great memories. Thanks for sharing. Merry Christmas!!!
It s good to be poor sometimes.. that way v get to learn how to do certain things on our own rather than wasting money on it. Above all it is the quality time spent with kids ... they just love it when parents sit with them n do things rather than just buying them
I came to America through adoption when I was 10 years and 10 months old. We were very poor in Korea, and I was the youngest of 6 children, and the only one who was not too old to be adopted. I was never in an orphanage, rather I lived with my family until the day I left to start my life in United States. That was a week before Christmas 1972. Christmas has always meant a lot to me, since I vividly remember the day I left (my mom standing next to me just minutes I was to head for the airport), and the day I arrived Minnesota. Oh the beautiful Christmas decorations that I never saw in Korea... The birth of our Lord Jesus too. I do not decorate much at all for other holidays, but Christmas... It's a dream for me to make beautiful things. Thanks for sharing your story Dudie...and for reading mine.
I always make my own wreath, Just before I went into the forest to get berries and branches I watched your video. thank you for the tip on alternating in and out with the bundles and the tips on finishing the end. Thanks to you my wreath will be even more spectacular this year (I hope) Thank you great tutorial quick and concise.
She always does an awesome job in the way she explains and shows how to put something together! Some projects may be on a bigger scale than I need but I'm still able to use all of those great tips.
I love floral designs 😍 I've worked in 3 floral shops, it's a passion and not many times I do it now, so thank you 😊 this rejuvenates me to get busy. We have a cabin in Idaho, just cut down a couple of trees and I kept looking at all that luscious material!!
Thank you! I used this video to make a wreath out of evergreen material I have growing in my yard. Great advice and well explained. My wreath came out better than I thought it would because of this video.
Thank you very much for your helpful video. I watched it last autumn and I liked your idea of using natural materials for your wreath. It's gorgeus! I tried to make it and I think it looked very well, better than I'd hoped. I used plants growing in my surroundings (fir, taxus, hedera, rose hips ...), I added only small red artificial christmas balls, because there aren't any holly trees in my country (I live in Europe, in Czech Republic). So I took it off last week and now I send you photo of my wreath inspirated by you. Everybody liked it. Thanks!
Thank you so much for your tutorial . I went this morning cutting tree branches , all sort of barries from the neighbourhood and I made my very first Christmas wreath . It looks like your ! Thank you, thank you ! 🤗
Wow! This looked simple enough to make, but oh so beautiful! I can perhaps do the same to make a garland using the branches to help keep bundles in place.
You made this look so easy and the delightful concise delivery was inspiring. Thank you. Surely will be a nature and commercial combo wreath for me this year.
That looks beautiful! Thanks for sharing. I just made a wreath but it took long because I didn't know the bundle method. Now I'm gonna go make a second one and hopefully it is a lot easier and takes less time!
Thank you so much for this helpful video! I am an amateur wreath and swag maker and your video provided incredible insight as to how to do it right and make my decorations look more professional. I can't thank you enough!! Merry Christmas!!
such a pretty and elegant wreath! I've search for the one for my front door and this is by far the most attractive natural looking! Where would be the best place to buy all those plants?
Very nice video and AMAZING wreath! I'm jealous of your assortment of clippings! I've made wreaths in the past but it has now been a few years, this was a great refresher. Thank you
Very beautiful. I went out in the snow today here in the Pacific Northwest (Ferndale, WA) and harvested some fir, cedar, holly, & dogwood twigs, so I'm all trained up from this video and ready to roll. Thanks a bunch!

Being poor blessed you in the long run!! You created a wonderful memory for you and your daughter and a family tradition!!!
Same here. They really meant something to us didn't they? And great memories with our children.❤️❤️❤️
