Your channel is truly great… it’s fantastic to have real player offering common sense, well thought out truth (for the most part) about becoming an advanced Tennis player. It’s also wonderful that you’re back to competing… if you commit 100% to the next 24 months, staying the course through poor form, bad loses, injuries, travel and the great wins I’m sure you’ll go even further you can imagine. Stay the course…
It seems quite obvious that you are constantly striving to hit quality shots. Your commitment in this regard is both highly instructional and inspiring.
Was awesome! I kind of do the same logic on my practices during the week cause it’s 1hr or 1.5hr and is not enough time to do full sets. Taking ideas from this video as well!
One of my all-time favorite videos from your channel (I have quite a few 😁). Great insight into the mindset of a player and how you approach/structure your training sessions. The later part of the session ,where you make your mind up early and be more decisive in your strokes, is fantastic advice for me to take away from this video. Thank you again for all the great content you put out. Love the “4.5 now what” series too. Obrigado!
Hi Karue, I've been watching your videos a lot lately and it has helped me to elevate my game to a whole new level. The unique perspective you bring in is amazing. If you can, can you create a video on your tactics on hitting a stable smash/overhead? Mostly, how to smash while stepping back or running back forward and sideways. Where to hit, how to aim and how to position myself. Perhaps this may be an idea for multiple videos. Thank you.
I love that you ride a onewheel :) , do you snowboard as well ? If you do, do you think it helps with tennis? I know skiing does, as many pro players ski
Had to pause and like the video as soon as the captions came up for "If you are about to complain about the grunting, go back to watching pickleball videos."
Your racket face is much less inverted during take back than most pros with semi western forehand grips. Is yours a weaker semi western grip? Could you tell us exactly which bevels your index knuckle and heel pad are on?
Great stuff I'll be implementing a number of those drills in my warmups - thanks! By the way, who's your hitting partner? Looks like he's got some solid game too.
The line of the ball doesn’t stop at contact point. It continues past the the start of your racquet drop. There’s a gap between the contact point and the swing path that is often gone unseen and unused. Those pinches off the full distance needed for swing path. Let’s see if you can see it next time you’re hitting.
@mytennishq question let’s say I go into a tournament with different balls you used to use , let’s say a stiffer lighter ball or a softer heavy ball , how would you choose your back up rackets tension and how would your prepare your gears let’s say you have 4 rackets ? Thx
Hi! Wanna ask you something, could you share with me your string reccomendations for the Vcore 95 2023. I just recenty use this racquet, still trying to find the perfect strings with a blend of control and spin. Appreciate if you could share this. Thanks!
Well you should definitely try my string. Collaboration with Toroline. This is the set up I currently use and play all my tournaments with: toroline.com/collections/my-tennis-hq
Hi Karue, If I am doing some cross court with an opponent, if I hit a decent, or even okay cross court shot that I think will most likely cause the opponent to hit cross court back, should I just go straight to the net to intercept their next shot and finish the point or is that a bad idea?
UCLA babyyyy!!!! Lets go!!! Karue, i see a lot of similarities in your strokes with your boy Marcos Giron, and hes been very successful on tour recently. I know you can be just as successful--you just need experience. And youre not too old--look at what the Big 3 did into their mid-late thirties. Rootin for you bud. Lets go!!!
Given the circumstances especially financially, you're doing a fucking outstanding job at being: manager, coach and player. Big pat on the shoulder for you Sell.
It’s amazing how your level is so high despite not being able to slide. There are so many balls that you cannot reach that someone who can slide can reach, yet you’re still a world class player playing with a handicap.
Hi! I have been watching your channel for a while now. I like it how it is different to others. Unique. The reason why I am writing is to ask in the name of surely hundreds: I think it would be useful and interesting to see how you get ready to compete again, OFF the court. Meaning , how do you eat, how do you recover what are your techniques etc etc. I think it would be fascinating to see. (Just and idea..)
Andy Roddick said that you are not a professional player unless you can support yourself through your winnings alone. What do you think about what he said?
I really like your serve, it's truly impressive. Can I share a video of mine with you to receive some constructive feedback? It would be very helpful since I'm having difficulty reaching the level I'm aiming for. I greatly appreciate your expert opinion!
If I were your coach I'd tell you more knee bend ~get lower b4 each shot. Greater power & more margin for error rising up into the shot. When players don't do this the opponent's ball/shot is playing them.
Don’t forget to smash that like button!! Time to focus on getting some Ws!! Hahah
Karue just bough 4 sets of K-Pro as Christmas gifts for my fighting buddies. Hopefully my 3.5 forehand will immediately evolve into yours!

Love the grunting and Pickleball comment 🤣🤣
It’s refreshing seeing people warm up short cut then gradually move back

Great video as usual. Will you be heading to Australia in January?
Super helpful to see you breakdown your practices. Would love to see what your other sessions look like

love to hear it! Thanks for watching
Good to see you back playing. We've missed you brotha 🙏
The beginning what you said about the grunting, I may have to use it because people always tell me to not grunt.
UCLA facilities are incredible. What a great place to practice.
Got lessons from karue and he changed my game in 1 month. Surprisingly he charged me so cheap I’m looking forward to my next lesson
haha the grunting complaints to pickleball line, great content Karue.

Hi Karue, like your playing style! Curious what grip your Forehand holding?
Super video thanks from France
seeing karue hit a bad backhand is the rarest thing ever

Karue, você sente falta do saibro ou agora prefere quadra rápida depois de tanto tempo nos EUA?
What tennis racquet are you currently hitting with? it looks like the Yonex Vcore but yours is all red. did you paint it?
Thanks
Hey karue! Just got the new K Pop delivered! What tension would you recommend in relation to the tension I normally play? Higher or lower?
play with your normal tension the first time and adjust from that. Find the right feel! Thanks for buying
"If you're going to complain about the grunting, go back to watching Pickleball videos" 😂
Hey, what do you use to record in first person view? Valeu meu amigo!
These are awesome. More vids like this please :)
How do you like the On Roger Pros vs Vapor Cage 4?
How often do you restring your tennis rackets? Thank you
Yes and yes and yes! 🔥

nice intro dude
How is the ON shoes?
What watch are you wearing in this?
8:40 We all know that person that after the first point says “okay let’s play to ….. 0-0 ”
Is that Fangran Tian traning next to your court lol

I can slide, but it only comes out during actual matches where the adrenaline is high. It is bad for the body so I don’t like to do it often
Unless there is ATP points on the line sliding on hard courts could ruin your bod in a flash.
@@KaruesellHQ your hitting partner was sliding around like a beast
