@davidhale8034 yes I am whining, not pre-whining. This video was a pure advertisement for Yonex, masquerading as "education". This channel was awesome back when it provided great tennis education and unbiased equipment reviews. But nowadays it has become more like an advertisement fueled vlog. I wish it could go back to what it was. Ofc we are all very happy for his success on the tour but I also miss the "old channel".
As a recreational player I'm finding more and more of the benefit behind being INTENTIONAL with my footwork. This means as soon as I hit the court I'm already thinking about how to loosen up and activating fast twitch fibers in the legs. On the days I don't have a partner and I still want to get some movement in these drills will be great for me to incorporate! Thanks, Karue. Tough loss against Alves in Curitiba man. You were playing solid. Seriously had that. You got the next one. Appreciate you putting all this out there for us to follow. Not easy putting your life out there in the public eye.
Yeah Foot Dr Zac, great guest! I bought Diadora Blue shields because of his great review, not a popular brand but bloody good shoe to trash for numerous training sessions that lasted longer than my Nikes !
A real "pusher" is a player who prioritizes safety, highest percentage tennis. however, the pusher term usually applies to people who don't have. a proper technique, just squash the ball back with no pace so you don't find your rhythm, although you know you play better tennis. i came across these types a few times and always the way to beat them is to take away time for their balls and reliably hit winners. that takes a lot of time. so usually its players who arent necessarily the quickest movers, but who destroy the speed of the game by taking it out. hence the term "pusher" and not "normal player" or "highlight reeler". no spin, no pace and you're left with your own technique or the option to go with it, which drives me mad personally. quick movers like rafa make for a fun challenge. a pusher doesn't :)
Yonex sponsorship is great for everyone. Sure it’s advertising some shoes but they are admittedly really great shoes from the full reviews I’ve seen on the foot doctor channel. In return we get to see an entire pro level training session we can emulate. With a world class tennis athlete, a pro trainer and a shoe expert. I work in video production and filming and editing this stuff is surprisingly time consuming, even more so if you are also on a pro athletes schedule. So go Karue I hope your success opens up even more opportunities and you finally get a good return on the effort and sacrifice you put into touring.
These are the videos I live for. Appreciate you letting us have insight on your professional level training and conditioning. Could you do another video on what your training outine looks like off the court in regards to cable work for your back and lats or just gym work in general or are you primarily doing conditioning work on the court like in your last video?
What a great video K. Your intensity when doing the drills are amazing. Yonex is a great brand overall. The foot doctor is awesome as well. Highly recommend his channel. Looking forward to your next video. M
love to see the ad-accel is in my size. Unfortunately all the other models stop at size 13 like a lot of other brands but i'll give the ad-accel a try next time I need new kicks. With large narrow feet its always a game of least bad when it comes to tennis shoes.
Before three years I was at a training session for tennis coaches in Hamburg, Germany. There was Toni Nadal to show some exercises his nephew did. There were the top offspring junior tennis players from germany to do these exercises. He did every single exercise for 1 minute! This is on the court in top speed a really long time. The top junior players werde dead after 20 minutes! But it shows that the great movement of Rafael Nadal is based on incredibly hard footwork training. So you guys are absolutely right! The best players always have the best footwork. Greetings from a fan from Germany.
Can you please also give some exercises or drills for people who are playing doubles. When you become older it becomes a preferable way to compete in USTA :)
it is funny how "the pushers" are always mentioned as an anonymous group and nearly like an insult. no one saying loud, "hi there, i am a pusher" or something like that. but the truth is, imo, that on the recreational level you can get very far with this concept of tennis. i would not consider myself a pusher, but i found out that with cutting down the unforced errors together with good footwork and fitness has a huge impact on my tennis. much more than a little better backhand etc. it is not about the winners, it is about conistency and for that you need footwork and of course good fitness.
Im a 4.5. This is so absolutely true, when I'm not moving well I play like a 3.5, missing easy shots, over-reaching for balls, blasting balls im not in positions to do so, etc.
Super enjoy the videos. Wanted to ask about your shoulder flexibility. Can you touch your hands behind your back with one elbow up and one down? ... and both ways? Pete Sampras had an awesome serve and his flexibility was unmatched .... and allowed for some awesome pop on his serve. Maybe it would help you get another 5 or 10 on your first and second serve and make a big difference when you run into a kid returning like Novak!
Looks like the toe bed is too narrow for me. I need a wide toe bed but not an overall wide shoe if that makes sense. Everything else looks great. Good luck and good video.
Hi Karue ! When I play inside tennis with my shoes, I often hurt myself when I stop to quickly my run. I loose both of my nail's toes last year and my underskin this week. Do you have the same problem sometime? I have good shoes....I don't get it
Funny thing is Karue, you said at one point that you didn't like to slide in hard court, now you do that all the time. lol What changed, are the new Yonex shoes?
yonex sponsorship 💪🏻
Thank goodness I was scared babolat was going to snatch him
So we will be bombarded with Yonex ads from now on.
Not sponsored. Video is, not me. No contract
@@Stu49583Jeez pre-whinging. 🤦

This is great!! Sometimes we forget the footwork part of the game. Probably the most important.
coach karue back with probably the most important lesson for all tennis players!

Skill issue
You're a saver! I was just looking for something like this
Yonex! Great step in sponsorship levels. Karue getting famous!
Great collab. I have been watching both of you for years now.
Good collab, nice new sponsor !! Growing the Tennis YT
Yeah Foot Dr Zac, great guest! I bought Diadora Blue shields because of his great review, not a popular brand but bloody good shoe to trash for numerous training sessions that lasted longer than my Nikes !
Duuuude, Foot Doctor Zach and Karue, that was not on my bingo card!
Alex De Minaur is one of the best when it comes to movement, it is just incredible how well he moves.
crazy good mover
Zach is the GOAT
This is great. I recently shifted my focus to the lower body and this will make a great addition to the other work I'm doing.
Woot a small MyTennisHQ segment!!
Thanks I will be trying those exercises!! Moving well is so important in tennis.
Thank you so much Karue free drills for me to start doing.
Does this man ever not put out top notch content? What a great channel.
Yessss coach! Get that Yonex dough 🥳
Yonex!!!!! Let's goooooo!!!

Zach randomly appearing and advising me on tennis shoes with karue instead of basketball shoes was not what I was expecting
Video editor had a few mistakes.

great comprehensive set of exercises, thank you so much
He's finally sponsored by Yonex!!! Probably single-handedly bringing more people to play with Yonex than half the Yonex users in the top 100 lol
The video is sponsored by it, not me 🫡
No contract 😏
Let’s be real bro😅
@ the day I have a contract with a tennis brand you guys will be the first to know. They are cheap and I don't do free promotion 🫡
What a great video K. Your intensity when doing the drills are amazing. Yonex is a great brand overall.
The foot doctor is awesome as well. Highly recommend his channel.
Looking forward to your next video.

When you put your best efforts, but your editor just repeat the same workout in two places. 🤦♂️🤦♂️
I was not expecting to get such a robust set of drills, this looks like a hell of a workout bro!
We got you!
Thanks for this
Vau!
What a video!
Great exercises. Thank you

Wow wow wow !! Just wow !!

Pusher is a term people use to feel better about losing to someone they feel is inferior.

As a 3.5 I feel personally attacked 😢
@K4R3N i was once 3.5 too, if anything it means you can easily improve your game by having better footwork
@cks2020693 I'm so old
Quickest way to improve in tennis is moving better for sure
THANK YOU! been waiting for this! do you have videos about contact point and timing?
lots of videos on the channel with lessons. Browse the library

May I know that how to have a right and basic warming up routine before playing tennis everyday?
dicas ferassss Sell👏🏻
Aight time to look into yonex gear i guess
Looks like the toe bed is too narrow for me. I need a wide toe bed but not an overall wide shoe if that makes sense. Everything else looks great. Good luck and good video.
i love your shit and your process but maybe tell the editor to dial the sound effects back a tiny bit 🤣
I’m gonna become so fast Karue
good vid
The sponsorship has an edit mistake, just letting you know, great video overall!
Is there a difference between Exercise #3 and #7? Or is it just intentionally repeated for the sake of the workout?
Hi Karue ! When I play inside tennis with my shoes, I often hurt myself when I stop to quickly my run. I loose both of my nail's toes last year and my underskin this week. Do you have the same problem sometime? I have good shoes....I don't get it
Maybe try going up half a size, had same issue in the past
Karue is so uncomfortable inserting those Yonex shoe taglines in the middle of his workout 😂
The pusher doesn't need to move as well as a baseline attacker.
I am good at moving, but i have no motivation to do it. How do i fix?
Funny thing is Karue, you said at one point that you didn't like to slide in hard court, now you do that all the time. lol What changed, are the new Yonex shoes?
If you don't like footwork go play PICKLEBALL!

It sounds better if you say 270 in the world. Top 300 can be 299. You dont want to see that 3 hundred there..
He is not the greatest athlete
Reviewing shoes is like reviewing prostitutes, pleasureful but remorse giving.
Used to wear yonex shoes. They are all too narrow and not wide enough so a lot of people don't fit into them anymore
