fast, very well explanation, fair comparisons.. overall: 100% great video, 0% BS. good job!
Appreciate the feedback! Thank you!
Thanks for making this comparison video! This was really helpful!
Glad it was helpful!
Are you able to record camera motion and repeat it back on the Tail Air? So I can film a clean plate, then do that same motion shot again?
No unfortunately it’s not like that. Any stop motion is best down manually. But if anything the Osmo has an automatic feature like this for timelapses and can pan left to right.
Nice review, but the Tail Air for my use is cost was just under $900; Pass for now (I need the NDI lic+ethernet) I Have the Pocket 3, and it's excellent!
You got a solid camera! Anyway, perhaps when Obsbot makes a version two.
The three camera deal is the sweet spot for these cameras, and the multi camera setup is where they work better than the osmos.
Can I use this 2 camera upside down???
From what distance can DJI Pocket be controlled with DJI Mimo?
Yeah, it just depends on how you plan to flip it back over. Although I haven’t tried flipping the Tail Air. The DJI pocket worked fine.
How long does it take a depleted battery (on the Tail Air) to recharge? And can it still be used when charging?
I might have to buy both of these cameras (one this year and one next year, otherwise my wife is going to holler...LOL).
It takes about 90 minutes to recharge a depleted battery. I have yet to try out how much longer it will last while charging.
@@MikeBSalazar Thank you for your answer. Everyone is reviewing this camera but no one is providing information such as this. Again, thanks!
With the Tail Air, can this be used with Streamyard?
Yeah. Just plug it in and you should be able to pick it from a drop down menu.
They are two different products and intended for different uses. It's a bit absurd to compare them.
Heads up, the Obsbot has continuous, single & manual focus.
Oh. For video?? Idk why I wasn’t able to see that
@@MikeBSalazar yeah definitely there in the settings. It where you change iso etc at the bottom.
Excellent!
Thank you!
U just compared a Osmo pocket 1 to a 3 lol
These have two completely different applications.... This comparison doesn't make sense
Indeed they are different. If anything comparing them in price and tech.
When I first saw the Obsbot Tail Air (today), the very first thing I thought was, "How does this compare to the DJI Osmo Pocket 3?"
The comparison makes perfect sense to me. They're similarly priced and do much of the same things. It just so happens that one is more dedicated as an action cam and one is a more dedicated to studio-level streaming.
Recommending the Obsbot over the Pocket 3 is bad advice. The Obsbot is only 8bit vs 10bit color on the Pocket 3. No contest there, get the Pocket 3. Also, the Obsbot sensor is friggin tiny compared to the Pocket 3's 1" sensor.
Pocket 3 will serve most people well, but I was interested to also explore what another camera similar in price range and features can offer.
