I just installed the Beamtech H13's in my JT and they work great. No Tazer needed. The DRL's plugged right in, but in my case the Fog Lamp or Driving Lamp replacements did not .. the Fog Lamp bulbs have alignment ribs for both the lamp housing and the OEM plug. Once I stared at them for a minute or two I opted to shave off the offending ribs that did not align with an Exacto Blade and that fixed the issue. Once the new bulbs fit the housing and plug they worked perfectly. I found this issue reported online with other H16 bulbs ... so it's not just a Beamtech thing. The LEDS work great with the Jeep Halogen reflectors ... good cut off, just make sure you have them adjusted properly.
I put these in my 2024 Sport S and haven't had a single issue. No need for a Tazer as the resistors are all you need. No flickering and no computer issues. The only complaint is that they do not sit at 12-6 for me. They are just slightly off, but the beam cut off and pattern are just fine. I used the Allen key provided to try and adjust them, but it seems to not ever let me lock it in at 12-6. I also went ahead and got the Beamtech 5202 fog light LEDs to replace the factory ones and they are working great. The only issue is that there are three little notches on them that had to be shaved down in order for them to fit the house 100% (they prevent the bulb from clicking in).
My vote was AUDEXEN 7” replacements. I would agree a decent LED bulb is better but the skatter sucks on most. I would invest in a full replacement. I did and havent looked back.
Great video. I just installed the H13 on my 2020 Wrangler however after just driving it at night for the first time it seems as if my high beams and low beams are reversed. Do I need to make sure the led bulb is set in a certain direction?
There is a clocking screw that allows you to make sure the light is oriented correctly. It’s possible that is not correct or you simply flipped the bulb orientation.
Ok so there is a proper orientation they need to set in unlike the stock halogens. I didn’t pay any attention to this and just threw them in. In don’t think the instructions say anything about making sure the orientation of the bulb is correct which they should for newbs!
Hi there what happens if a beam tech fan stops spinning is there going to be like a total meltdown for some reason I don't see any information on what happens because eventually fans do burn out
I've had a few people tell me the same thing. Obviously, they work. I think they offer ones without the fans on the back now. So, maybe that's why they don't state these are the correct ones.
does your leds properly face 9 & 3, mine has a little tilt 10 & 4. the adjustments don't provide the adjustment. If you see through jeep grill plate in the light, does your copper center line on LED is vertically aligned?
I got these as well unfortunately it gives me FM radio static and interference when the lights are ON …… had to go back to regular bulbs if I wanted radio
That's interesting. I'll have to see if that does it on mine. I only use apple music. So, I've never even checked if that would be an issue with AM/FM.
@@DrivingLine apparently supposedly the cooling fan is creating the interference……I didn’t notice it either until I started to run headlights when got dark quicker winter time lol
I’m not sure about replacement bulbs for the YJ, but I know there are a crazy amount of complete replacement LED headlights that you can get pretty cheap. When I was building my XJ a few years ago there were a bunch on eBay, but Amazon has overtaken that market slice. I would go complete replacement if I were you.
Gotcha thanks. I plan on it in the future was thinking that would be a cheap upgrade till I'm ready to replace the headlights. 40 bucks isn't going to break the bank 🏦 lol also thanks for replying back to me.
It’s difficult to get a photo of it, but it will be nearly vertical in the housing. Mine has around a 10 degree slant, but the adjuster would have only made it worse. In the instructions, they will show you which is the low beam LED and they recommend to position it in the housing.
This is the big surprise isn't it? I just assumed it would be the case on models like mine (a 2019 Sport). I almost laughed when I went out for my first night time drive. Beamtech ordered by end of first week of ownership.

@hoyaaa I replaced the stock halogens with these. I have yet to take everything apart again and have just been driving with high beams switch on

mine is just a little off as well (the bar doesn't sit perfectly vertical.
