Marina: "How are you holding up Wilson?" Wilson: "Got the wind knocked out of me but I'll live" Chun: "You both notice how we face Primes on every mission now?" Marina: "Must be Prime Time" 😅 Wilson: 😑 Chun: "Hahahaha, I wish they would revoke my Prime membership" 😅 Wilson: "You're both terrible" 😮💨 Crazy how Primes change the game, really makes the late game seem way riskier, not sure I would want to play a campaign with Primes but it makes the fights more tense for viewing, great work TapCat 👍
27:30 you did leave the marine back on the previous turn, you moved three guys in a line forward but there were four on that side since the Advent trooper joined you.
Yep... but honestly, I'd probably have done the same XD Three guys on the bridge + three guys behind the fence = all 6 accounted for so overwatch and end turn :)
The big lesson I'm getting from this campaign is I need to be using hair triggers alot more. Also, faceless has always ignored mimic beacons even in the unmodded game, which also explains that situation back during Blacksite.
Just remember that our hair triggers have a 20% chance to activate thanks to a continent bonus. Otherwise, it would be 15% and it makes a significant difference in how often you see it.
Well done. A question? I've been watching this series since the start and it almost seems that you get more "hair trigger" bonus strikes than normal. Did you two equip more of these or does it seem that way to you? In all events, good vid
Each one is hitting more because we got a continent bonus that bumps them from 15% up to 20%. At the same time, I do think there are a couple of weapons that we use regularly that are equipped with the hair trigger and I don't normally have more than one.
I do sometimes, particularly the alien ruler armor. The War suits are certainly good in their own way but I get so much value from things like special ammunition and mimic beacons that losing one of those slots to the armor is a sacrifice that I often don't care to make.
Watching this round It made me want to play XCOM2 again. You made It look so easy to play!
It does. And he does. I had given up totally on Xcom when I discovered him and am now a regular devotee.
Thank you, it didn't feel easy at the time. 😉
40:00 Jhonny Bravo, that made me chuckle

They definitely ramp up the difficulty but I am okay with adding more of that to the late game.

Great work as always!🎉
Does the volunteer Advent trooper, count as an unkilled enemy if they survive? Might explain the missed enemy.
I don't think that's the case, but now that you raise the question I realize that I can't say with 100% certainty.
Hair trigger free action kill, thanks o mamba!

Marina still without promotion? C'mon, she's been on 23 missions, so almost half of them.

I notice you don't seem to opt for the special armor?
