I replaced my front hubs doing this and they do not even come with the studs for centering the disk so it would be dangerous. I ordered the spacers thanks for the vid!
Hey Mate, just discovered your channel and wanted to thank you for detailed and professional explanation. Do you know If theres any similar way to fit these calipers on a non m-e46? Greets!
@@vysgarage thanks alot, it makes it alot easier to find parts. My f30 set only has 345 mm rotors in the back. Dont know if thats the same compared to the f80 370mm
I’ve been asked this question so many times but I haven’t done anything with e39 yet, so I just went and ordered an e39 front hub to come up with a solution. Watch this space 🙂
@@vysgarage the rears is easy with 135i Brembo calipers on E46 330i using E46 m3 rear rotors. Saw you post about using 340mm front rotors. Here we don't have vw transporter. I'm thinking of using 345x30 rotors from a 2016 Chevrolet Camaro SS, hat height is 61mm. Will need to check the rotor swept area.
This is great because these newer calipers are about $200 cheaper than the popular 135i calipers

@bircklean detailing i have just got a set for my m3. where do i get the 3mm washer spacer from
Any luck finding the spacers?
Yes, I sell them as a kit
Great video. Going to implement it to my e36.
Would this upgrade work using e36 evo m3 hub using same method with the spacer? Thanks
Hi
I’m not sure about the evo hub geometry so can’t advise you. Sorry
@@vysgarage hi
Thanks
Is this set up overkill for stock e46 m3?
Hi great vid! Is it worth doing with the 340mm calipers or waste of time?
It’s an option but if you use vw t5 discs.
With csl discs, is not worth it because the pad doesn’t sit right.

where can i found 380 discs? I've already calipers and i want to fit on Z4 e86 with 18 wheels
What about wheel fitment after fitting these calipers
Why do you think all the new M and M lite cars are being shipped with floating rear calipers and not fixed ones? (I think they look ugly)
In my opinion it’s only to save cost.
What adapter are you using for the calipers?
none
Is this upgrade possible on the e46 non m without swapping in m3 knuckles?
Yes
Do the F80 calipers and 380mm rotors bolt up to the e46 330ci knuckles with no washer or do they require a washer like the 340mm calipers?
I haven’t tried, but they should.
@@vysgarage do you think this setup can accommodate 18” wheels?
@@eduardolima8560 yes, most of them
