I really like the honesty of your videos. You are genuinely trying to share information, and not just shamelessly plug sponsor products like other fishing channels.
Thanks Ray, I’m glad you appreciate my work. I try keep it as real as possible and focus on the fishing and helping inspire and motivate others to get out and have a go 😊
Nice to see you again , Please be careful with any fish from sydney harbour years ago i caught two very large fish in sydney harbour under the bridge there and i ended up with mercury poisoning after three days of agony and stomache pain i was able to go to the doctor and as soon as he looked at me he said that i had mercury poisioning because the whites of my eyes were light blue . .
Hi Mel, I have just found your channel what a great video hard to believe there can be such great fishing so close to the CBD of Sydney. Looking forward to watching some of your other videos 💜🎣
Hey Fabian. When fishing vertical to the boat on the floor I find the shirt leader gives you much more control over bait positioning on the floor and better strike ability. When casting out away from the boat and leaving the rod in a rod holder the long leader is much more effective. But I don’t fish like that with Pilly so yeah, short leader = maximum control 👍🏽
@@spikesfishing Thanks for the reply.I’ll try a short leader and see what happens when fishing up/down like you mention.I usually use sinker to hook or patternoster for straight up/down.

How did you go?
Hi Mel, what berley do you use?? Those breams were huge!
Haha they were huge!! that day I used chicken feed soaked in tuna oil 👍🏽
Hi Mel,
Where do you get the Lumo sinkers?
Fishing station online 👍🏽
I think they advise not to eat the fish on that side (western side) of the Harbour Bridge.
That’s Burwood and paid parking more than likely why not many boats on a normal day.
Spot on, still a great ramp with good access to the harbour and protection from wind 💨
I think you need to pay the ticket.
Yep it’s paid parking 🅿️
