To everyone confused, that actually was Indy's normal voice, he has to pretend to be a human. It was all #NoFilter.
Can I have a pint of what Indy's been smoking?
tallthinkev beat me to it! Must view these videos earlier.
A pint of something smokable? That doesn’t track.
I never watch YT videos "sober" just in case I start reading comments 😄
The Indybot needs a little… lubrication it seems.
Toby Wood Oh you naughty boi
I can help with that
Toby Wood I suggest double malt scotch
i get the death of stalin zhukhov scene
Oil and grease supplies are running out right now in Germany, they're doing the best they can!

Man, who knew the Germans made Indy robots for the Great War
I prefer anti-freeze
Clorox Bleach
Imagine playing Origins and seeing a giant Indy walk across the map.
Pickle "Hi I'm Indy Neidell" *proceeds to annihilate everyone in the trenches*
Clorox Bleach answer is german engineering
Welcome to modern war.
Lol, I knew it. A man can't have so much knowledge must be a robot :)
Backspin66
We should stay tuned - i think he'll be back ;-)
Backspin66 He sounds like the late Stephen Hawking.
More like a broken Robocop.
He's a content machine.
Backspin66 but i still like the guy, even if he is a robot
The robot impression was superb. Best laugh for ages. Thanks Indi.
Okay Germans, time for us to put an end to this war...
Indy clearly needs a break.
so who said Indy that breathing through an original period gas mask was safe?
It would have been safe if he had found his mother in time.
I have a question I haven't seen anywhere yet. How were the land on the frontlines which were shelled by artillery (mainly on the western front) treated after the war? How long did it take to "clean all the mess up"? I'm looking forward for the next OOTT episode, and hopefully I'll see an answer. You are making my favourite historical show on UA-cam, keep up the great work.
Hello MC robot :0
Hoàng Kim Việt Chào đồng hương nhé :)) that intro made my day lol
Hoàng Kim Việt 0:10 is this what our Patreon money went, Indybot? Honestly I hope so.
Khang Nguyễn Quốc Chào bạn :0
Kevin Nguyen 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Can we get a top 10 of Indy's chair of wisdom moments!? keep up the great videos guys
Haha great intro
0:04 Indy what did I told you about eating green plants in the neighbour's basement?
I give a lot of props to the soldiers of Austria Hungary that did stand United and fight despite going through a lot.
I just remembered that Indy is the announcer of the HvV mode in Battlefront 2
Release the Kraken
Regarding the first 15 seconds... You signed up for this gig Indy my bro. We're all glad you and the team have done this project. We truly are. I brag about your channel to my own family and coworkers. I know OOTT may seem tedious, but you should be grateful for where you are in your life. You have a somewhat and possibly maybe even timeless UA-cam Channel (this project can not be done again properly for another 100 years). Be proud Indy. And be proud of what you do next as well.
Awesome like all about the great war history👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
That robot in the beginning
Indiana Jones you git
Indy became the Terminator...
The Conradnator...
He's missing the Austrian accent. He really needs to get one of those.
Did the Ottomans ever have any joint operations with the Austro-Hungarians or the Bulgarians?
INDY answer this ☝ question.
Awesome episode of OOTT...and the intro!
Great Opening Indy. 👌👌 That was the spicyist Meme yet.
I, for one, welcome our new IndyBot2000 Overlord.
Dude, you´re scaring the kids, Indy. That was AWESOME! :-D
Hi Indy & Flo! Not quite 'The Kraken', but IIRC A. B. Facey describes an encounter with a fearsome beast he calls an "Old Man Squid" whilst swimming at Gallipoli. The story is part of his memoir titled 'A Fortunate Life'.
Love Indy! Dude needs his own show on the History channel.
channel name Hustory buddies Indy&Flo. Flos german dryness compliments Indys wackiness perfectly
Nice video. Nice job.
This explains why Indy is over a hundred years old he's a robot :p
Cute, got me remembering "Danger, Will Robinson, Danger!!" Great channel.
That intro represents the future, more precisely how Indy will review WWIII for the one hundred year anniversary.
I love that intro
U boot? Indy turned Canadian for a moment there.
If you check carefully you can see the reflection of a pc trying and failing failing to start up.
Baz theblue or just pronouncing it in the correct German fashion, perhaps? A U boat is short for "Unterseeboot", or under sea boat. Gotta love those compound nouns!
Spud Gunn
If you love compound nouns check out what they call turboprop engines.
Canadians don't say "boot". It's Americans that say "bowt"
The "Boot" in Unterseeboot is still pronounced like the English word "boat".
Outstanding intro!
Here's a question for OOTT. How many casualties were caused by the wild life? Things like wolfs on the Eastern front, or snakes on the Ottoman front?
Intro 10/10
Dieselpunk!
I'm late but on that note of the USS Cyclops, she was one of three proteus class colliers, where two out of the three were lost in the Bermuda Triangle, the third was converted to the United States first aircraft carrier, the USS Langley and was lost off the island of java in World War Two due to damage from enemy air raids!
Indy Love it.
That was the best intro I’ve seen
Who continues to dislike this incredible channel. Weird
Domo arigato Mr. Roboto !
best laugh i have had in awhile thanks
I love the nod to The Usual Suspects
diggin the robo-INdy tonight! party on guys!
Best OOT opening ever ;-D
Cool
awesome start 😂
And the award of most random intro ever goes to.....
Love the Usual Suspects reference at 03:57
Can you guys do a special about Keyser Söze during WW1?
AWESOME INTRO :)
My grandfather was in the 5th Pioneers as well, and there is a book about the 5th held in the National Library which describes their involvement first in Gallipoli, and later on the Western Front. Interestingly ,my surname is a result of grandad's enlistment, when it was suggested that his original name might cause difficulties if he was ever captured, and so he chose the name of the suburb where the enlistment office was located.
hello very creative thanks
Anzac Pioneer Battalion was the first part of the Anzac to be sent to the France. That were the nick name 'Digger' comes from.
Hahahahaha love the intro Indy
He’s the German Puppet that is to cover up the failures of Michael with stories of *successes*
Azaz Ahmad I mean you can’t fail your strategic goal when there isn’t a strategic goal.
My great grandfather served in AEF 4th Pioneer infantry regiment. Once n France they were sent to a Depot division and used as replacements.
Remember how serious the show was at the beginning
You totally had me jump there...
You earned that like for that intro lol
Interesting mentioning the disappearance of the cyclops because it's sister ship uss nereus also disappeared in the Bermuda triangle as well as the proteus Jupiter had the honor of becoming America's first aircraft carrier becoming uss langley
hello the great war crew. I love your show, keep it up. MY question is what will you do after you finish your ww1 week by week episodes?
The pioneers were raised originally in the days of flintlocks, men who would set out before the main force was assembled to march, to make sure the roads were cleared of any debris. So their existence was closely associated with particular regiments rather than separate units. they wore regular uniforms for their regiment with aprons over them. they were also exempt from shaving as they were out so early (google images of royal Welch Fusiliers pioneers).
The Kraken legend has been heard before, in books but the belief was it was the story told by the captain to salve his honor for hoe he lost his ship without firing a shot. I mean his ship was crippled by a monster then the british found our wreck sounds so much better than, we blew up our own ship in a fit of raging incompetence and had to be rescued by the enemy.
We are safe from the indy 9000 because no one ever seems to no how to handle the question about british cheese rations that i put on patreon a while back.
Best out of the Trenches opening since "chair of temporary insanity"
2:17 The German U-boat and the Canadian U-boot are different, Indy xD
I for one would like to welcome our new Indy overlord.
I think Flo was behind this. Definitely controlling Indy .But beyond that another fine Out Of The Trenches guys.
😵😵😵 Interesting start to the vid.......
Hi Indy and grew! Love the show! I have A question for Out of the Trenches! In TV show and book series ‘Horrible Histories’ in the UK there is a section known as ‘Frightful First World War” and they mention that soldiers used to sometimes resort to Urine to cool down Machine Guns and Lose soldiers boots that have been giving soldiers blisters etc. My question is, did things actually happen and if so were there any other unique ways of dealing with situations like this?
OMG......... the Indy robot!
The USS Cyclops, there is an article written by an officer assigned to the Cyclops go got off at Guantanamo Bay right before the Cyclopse vanished who asserted the USS Cyclopse's captain as an idiot and was operating the the ship in an unsafe fashion like leaving the hatches of the ship's anti role tanks open.
Haha. Loved the robotic voice over 😁👍🏻
Indy Neidell as C3PO ? Nice... :D
3:56 - Nice Usual Suspects reference. :-)
The sickest intro ever
interesting opening. i welcome our new overlords.
Can you answer any thing abut the l 23 pirate zeppelin that captured a boat.
hah >< love the new intro ;)
To TGW, please make Indy say "Your move, creep" in that voice.
No, Robocop is better for him. ;)
I’m still waiting for the Indy3000 modell
Daha! the answer to gas attacks Indy upfront
I've read somewhere the legend comes from one of the U-Boat officers who wrote a book years after the event, it was all a bit suspect as the other ''witnesses'' were all dead by the time the book was written. There might have even been a picture of said book (not surprisingly, written in German). Can't remember my source so might be talking rubbish!
hahaha love it
best intro
A question for out of the trenches: was gas used on the Gallipoli front/campaign? I would love to know as I’m doing a school project on the Gallipoli campaign. Love what you lot do keep it up and (no surprise here) give flo a raise. haha. - Sharpshot899
Sharpshot 899 gas was used I believe by both sides when the war returned to trench ware fare after the landing.
Joey Kevorkian thanks I was just checking as the time frame of the landings and when gas was first used is quite close and I wasn’t sure if the ottomans had it available
Backtrack to the gallipoli episodes you lazy schmuck
Hi Sharpshot899, I can absolutely confirm with certainty, that poisonous gas was not used on the Gallipoli front, not before, during or after the landings.
General Hamilton, the Commander of the Mediterranean Expeditionary Force, did fear that the Turks would use poisonous gas in order to drive his troops back into the sea, and as such asked the War Office for both protective measures and means of retaliation should this happen. As such the War Office sent him 50,000 respirators in order to provide means of protection for his troops, but didn't send any gas shells or means of delivering gas to him. They feared that gas was going to be used against them, because of false reports of there having been a German Gas contingent attached to the Turkish Army and that Germany was providing the Ottoman Empire with gas shells, however given hindsight this turned out to be false.
Winston Churchill however did lobby the War Minister, General Kitchener to send out Gas shells and units to Gallipoli for use against the Turks. At the time Kitchener refused because of lack of available funding and supply, as most available British gas shells etc...were being used on the Western Front.
Towards the end of 1915, however he relented and the War Office sent 6000 Gas shells and instructors to Gallopoli, but both General Hamilton and General Monro, his successor as commander, both refused to deploy them on the grounds that the Turks had not used gas upon their troops, nor threatened too, the land was unfavourable for gas shells to be deployed without a risk of self gassing, as it were, and also that by the time the shells did arrive, the evacuation of British, Commonwealth and French troops was already being planned, so it wasn't necessary.
So in answer to your question, though it was considered Gas was never deployed by any Allied or Ottoman troops at Gallipoli.
No. They considered it but never ended up using it. Most of the resources were reserved in that regard for the Western Front.
indy.exe is reporting an error.
I think Indy has been on the sauce again.
Question for out of the trenches how far did the allied powers push into Germany before the armstice ? Or did they even push in at all , I can't find an answer anywhere
Unleash the Kraken!". Since that legend started floating around there have been some artists trying depict WW1 navel combat as being between Allied trained sea monsters and German engineered ships.
Hi Indie, Flo and the rest of the great war crew,
You mentioned that pioneers became more and more needed throughout the war, my question is why did the germans not follow up Operation Michael with some of these pioneer battalions to build new trenches rather than the infantry?
What was the story for Belgian Congo during WW1? king Leopold died just five years prior to the was and the name changed from Free state to Belgian colony.
00:18 Indy.Exe has stopped working.
Lol I love the new Indy bot
I had a question for the next out of the trenches. We had to write world war 1 stories in school and me and a freind got into a argument over if a landship or MG postiotion could destroy a plane. So were there any reports of landships or MGs other than ones made for anti air downing a planes ? Btw keep up the fine work
hahah, what a start!
What about the one unit of American soldiers who advanced too far during the Argonne offensive? (I'm probably thinking of something simmilar) I love both world wars and I'd like to see more of your fabulous work, Have a nice day!
P.s. Did anyone of your ancestors serve in ww2 and as what?
Hey Indy...the war will be over in 7 months..I've been following your outstanding work since August 2014..what do we have to look forward to from you on 11/12/2018?
Great War is the best anime
What was life like inside small shelters you see in Flanders in the fields often, did soldiers sleep inside?
