I absolutely love how Thabitha St-Germain stay in character even in her outtakes. It feel like it's Rarity swearing, and she's only one with her character ! That's how you see an incredible actor !
That's pretty common, actually. They do a lot of reads in quick succession and it's easier to stay in the voice than to drop it and try to get back into it. It's similar to how if you see Muppet outtakes, they tend to stay "in-character" continuing to act as the puppet.

swearing profusely immediately after messing up a line is the most relatable voice over actor experience. at this point its basically second nature.
The fact they're professional enough to stay in-character while venting their frustration about the lines is the best part.
Rarity WOULD be bantering about how much she hates the lines and the recording booth and the guy directing her
I mean, even I thought that line was a monster. You can hear her desperately trying not to tongue-twister that line into a word salad, and then she hits the 'appreCiaTion SoCiety Soiree', and those back-to-back 's' syllables just kill her.
Seems like Ashleigh Ball drops the character though.
It's a VA technique to ensure that lines aren't accidentally used in a show! Those flubbed takes absolutely have to end up on the cutting room floor, when they mess up a line, or just when they don't nail the voice, so the easiest way to earmark them as unusable for the audio team is to swear!

Spongebob has that infamous “behind closed doors” book for a reason. It’s almost like a pressure system, you gotta let off some steam one way or another so you can keep the system working.
Especially modern episodes, if I spent even an hour writing the script for one of these episodes nowadays I would let off some steam too 😂

@@uwubayeva0918 The writing is pretty good, They were just forced to rush it a bit as they only has 8 episodes when they needed at least 16, but they worked with what they had. Character designs could've been a bit better too, but minor things.

You know that blooper real for friendship games that they apparently animated suddenly makes a lot more sense and apparently wasn’t really as isolated as an incident as we thought.
