It turns out that Applejack's voice was deepened so there was more of a distinction between dash and Aj, since theyre both voiced by one person.

Or out of all the ponies, Rainbow and AJ are just sooo comfortable with each other, seriously, I mean I did just start watching the show, I'm at like S4 now but ever since the early parts, all I see on the both of them are either Rainbow and AJ getting used to those "hoof wraps" or physical touches, the fact that out of everypony, they'd rather just spend time with each other and stuff like looking for each other when in times of need or trusting each other completely to do stuff for one another, like the "Spike at Your Service" incident.
Tho I don't really support the whole ship dynamic, they are extremely close, gives me an idea that they've been with each other ever since before the Mane 6 is even a thing, childhood best friends and stuff, I do have to admit that their vibe is so damn cute LOL
i've been watching since 2010, that is, since the series started, and it's a cartoon that i still haven't stopped watching, but i never thought of it that way. i think friends can also be close or spend more time together than others.
