I’ve been lurking on your videos for a minute. I’ve wanted to do this for a long time, I wanted to build a toter for my Camper. Put a flat bed on back to haul golf cart and such!
This is fantastic. I always wanted to build a firetruck car hauler or rollback. Even before DB! I like all the personal design and fabrication you are doing. You are a very talented dude!
Thanks I really appreciate it!! I also had the same vision for years. It started to just be a simple flat bed quick project but then I lost controll and went crazy lol. There is alot more planned with this build. Fire trucks need a second life instead of sitting in some field until they rot to nothing.
Coming from a fellow firefighter this is just savage and awesome 👏 Can’t wait to see the finished product. I don’t even know how the hell I ended up on your channel but well worth it.
Nice work. The only thing I noticed was that most of the strength will be on the downward. You might want to re-enforce for the pulling action. Enjoyed the vid. Thanks.
Thanks!! The side plates are 3/8 hot rolled. The tubing used was 1/4 wall 2x10. The hitch reciever is a standard curt weld on hitch reciever from e trailer or Amazon.
Sure would be great if you were my neighbor😳 Need to do something almost exactly the same on my 2015 Freightliner Cascadia, but with a pintle hitch just above the two inch reciever.👍 What size and grade of materials were used and costs?🤔Thanks🤠
I’ve been lurking on your videos for a BINGER. I HOPE YOUR CHANNEL ''BLOWS UP!!!'' YOU DO GOOD WORK AND ARE SEMI-COMICALLY ENTERTAINING!
Welding apron, welding helmet, no gloves 😂😂 love it. Bad ass piece man.
You are a great man

Dipping into the playlist for this build, nice work with that hitch. You seem to be in your element with fabrication.

Cool trailer hitch mount.....what size material did you use for those 2 hitch mounts [the triangular ones]?
