It's easy to see why George reached the top, he has a great outlook and attitude towards lifting! If you add in Louie and Westside, the sky is the limit!!
George is great. Back in the day. I bought his brand of bands. I called the number in a magazine to order them and George answered the phone. He gave me his whole routine over the phone. And some tips. Great guy, super friendly.
I try to understand what these guys saying but as a newbie its very difficult. I started reading the blogs on the website but I would really appreciate more content for raw beginner lifters, how to program, how to learn proper technique and how to learn everything necessary to succeed on the conjugate philosophy. thank you very much
Louie has many articles and also has a group of podcasts where he basically breaks it down like a college class. Those podcasts are from about six years or so ago. Some are more recent. Also, elite fts has a lot of info about conjugate training

Many years ago i used a program with with tons of singles and i got super explosive. I have just gotten back into training at 46 after many years of just "staying in shape" and speed singles is something i wanted to do because of they way they worked for me in the past, even though they were not done technically for speed. Glad to see someone great got something out of it.
Funny how true to life these 2 are. I trained with them a handful of times and both great people! George was a fucking work horse and one of the greatest thinkers and benchers.
I wish Tony would still do this..Unless he has an injury preventing him he's not too old at all..Bill Gillespie was 64 when he broke all time bench assisted record..
I love George’s statement,”You have not reached your potential until something breaks.”

Absolutely, it was an unstoppable combination

100% relatable, not only with lifting but in life…wish I had to opportunity to experience that culture again.

“Tony hide the bodies in concrete Ramos”
"Treat heavy weight light, and light weight heavy."
JM Blakley is the Iron Monk.
Going from 95 to 380 in 3 years is alot! Most people start going to the gym and quit in 2 months, remember that.
I wish Tony would still do this..Unless he has an injury preventing him he's not too old at all..Bill Gillespie was 64 when he broke all time bench assisted record..
Did anyone else completely forget Tony was even there for a while?
Ramos is a grandmaster troll. Awesome.
lol
