@@charnika.princess5857 I’m liking it so far, i want to stay away from heat i was natural was 6 years and my hair was thinning and i couldn’t understand why. So i got frustrated and relaxed my hair then cut it into a Meagan Good short style. But now i cut the relaxed part of my hair off and the back and sides i stopped relaxing.
So here we are on the road to healthy hair, no heat for me anymore .

Omg yea you should definitely do it! I miss my hair being this short and I could slick it down this easy (not that it’s much longer now lol)! I felt a little insecure at times but as soon as i got used to it, it grew so that I was able to get a little ponytail. Glad I could help ❤️.

Hello im a gay person that wants this style of hair, and my hair isnt curly is like striaght 1.. and i want this cause when you gel it it lays flat. But mine doeasnt... im kinda confuse is it the gel that i wm using, couse it still stand up. Unlike yalls its stay stiff and stay to long.. but bine fights.. pls help
Heey! Sorry for the late response. It depends on your hair texture. If your hair is not as kinky as mine you could get away with any get to lay your hair down OR you can just use the foam wrap if it’s just straight textured. I hope this helps 🥰

I have 4c hair and I keep hearing that I have to get a relaxer in order to get this look. Do you have a relaxer in your hair?
LaTia Pruitt No I don’t have a relaxer in. I did the big chop. I don’t think you need a relaxer to get this look at all but depending on your curl pattern you might not get as many waves but that’s okay. You’ll just have to figure out the right products that work perfectly for you. For instance, instead of using extreme gel try using the brand edge booster with a gel of your choice including foam wrap. I’m more than sure your hair will hold ❤️❤️❤️❤️.

No it doesn’t get flaky at all or at least not the brand I used. I prefer the Jamaican roots brand.

Is a foam wrap different from mousse?
Honestly I'm not sure but from what I do know mousse is catered more to white peoples hair vs foam wrap is catered to ours. I could be wrong. I'd stick to the brand BB FOAM LOTION & the BB TROPICAL ROOTS FOAM LOTION. QP is a good brand as well !!
