The deer love the small n tender plants first.
Amy, if you want to keep the deer away from your flower garden Scatter human hair clippings around the edges of the garden. Deer will smell the hair and equate it with the smell of humans, and they will stay away from the area where they perceive that humans are present.
Nice video you 2! I know what you mean with a new house living on a gravel road, can’t stop cleaning, drive the car in and if it’s raining now you got mud tracks on the floor and the wife is saying, sweep the floor! Hahaha have fun you 2! Thanks!
yep Doug you are right a lot of stuff that is not supposed to cost you more money and last forever is bull hockey, that composite decking is made of recycled plastic like some of the vinyl siding out in the sun it turns colors it is not meant to be I am a contractor and I try to talk people out of getting it because of it and I am replacing it with wood I would be on the phone calling that guy that did the job and sold you on using that stuff any way have a great day oh that's right when we see this your day is a week old so praying it got better all the way be safe God bless
A suggestion for Dougo is I use an old pill bottle for my drill bits .. I have a few with a few different sizes in them marked like 1/16th-5/32 and so on this way I need one I grab the sizes I need.
Dougo, make the most of your knees while you can, Mine won't let me kneel anymore. You are getting to be the true stars of Larson Farms, you do know that don't you? Well even if you didn't, you are, I just wish you were my brother, (younger of course). As always lots of love from UK.
Howdy from Kansas. Dougo was at the farm with a old parts mower took me back to mowing hay with #5 Johndeere on a 8n Ford. He is rite kids live to get into small places.

Dougo a old farmer once told me you can buy the most expensive top of the line window.5 years from now it will be obsolete. Lol that's how it works with everything including all things maintainance free
Put some rubber caps over the screws . They will look good.
And the different lengths won't matter. Can keep them on with a drop of super glue.
I will buy that window if you want to replace the other 28 windows in my house.LOL!!!

Since I'm only messing around and don't want dougo mad, his pick up is filthy! 😅 and that top step of the stairs for the deck, the concrete finish isn't quite safe. A little one plays with that and pulls the rocks it could be an issue. Hopefully Amy Larson UA-cam will show you and family enjoyed all the work this summer! Deck and boats and all! God bless

You two are the best. You roamed the car lots but no luck on a car or truck of your choice. Then on to the house garage. Dougo, list that nice Anderson window for sale and it will be gone right away. It is a 400 model and those are expensive windows. Someone will buy that from you.

Just wanted to say I watch you two every Sunday like going to church. I laughed seeing how dusty the diamond plate was . Busted.... If you know you know .
I had a hard time humbling myself and showing that. 🙃
We also needed heavy deck furniture and went with Polywood products. Very comfortable, heavy, and will last a lifetime.

Cactus update, you are not supposed to water cactus during the winter months. As far as I know, I have cactus in my house and I do not water them from December to the end of March and they are very healthy. Love your videos and the farm videos I am constantly watching them. And Doug, that was a good move not to put that railing on your steps next to your house. Good thinking.

She had went out and cleaned it one time and she tossed several things and put things away. My grandfather couldn't find anything for months.

Hi Amy and Doug, the best deer repellent is ground coffee. Just get an inexpensive ground coffee and sprinkle some around the plants. Deer don’t like the aroma of the coffee. We’ve used it for years and works extremely well. Thanks for your videos!!!🙏

Have you sealed your deck?
You could paint your deck or expoxy coating. Either one would look very nice. Love your videos.
Add a railing in between the house and the steps not on the steps. This will make it safer for all. You got to look at the products to know if it is worth add cost to go maintenance free. I did aluminum decking on my house because all the maintenance frees stuff fades and doesn't last in the long haul.

You should use redwood ,it's a bit expensive,you can Handel it , but you don't have to do anything to it ,it will last 20 yrs
With all the work at the farm, it must be stressful to maintain upkeep there and at home. It seems as when planting starts, it is 24/7.
