Always enjoy your vids. I can tell you keep your equipment in great shape. Blades are always sharp making for very clean cuts. Minimum over lap and efficient paths. That Cheetah really slings the clippings. I've watched many of your tall grass cuts and still amazed at what that machine can do.
I realize this is an older video. However, you didn't edge the street areas... You don't have to have a formed curb to edge those yards. That pushes the finished lawn over the top. Seems you push the mower to cut things I would really be iffy trying myself. Another great idea, get one straight string trimmer and replace the string head with a 10" carbine tooth saw blade. There is nothing it wouldn't cut through with total ease. Believe me, I converted a few and amazing what they will cut. And it really isn't any more dangerous then the typical wimpy bush cutter blades that wouldn't cut anything nearly as easy as the carbine tip blades will.. . Six inch woody brush, no problem! Great video either way. Thumbs Up!
I would tackle them with a brush cutting steel blade. A blade will allow you to cut the stump flush the ground and then spray any regrowth with weed killer to destroy the root system. That or dig em out haha Great video
+Loiero1995 lol, oh no, it's not gonna be me that digs them out. Yea if they don't hire a stump grinder soon I'll at least try to get these flush with the ground so I can just mow over all of them.
I agree, that Cheetah is a beast. It makes my Husky look like a wimp. And I know why they wanted to give that Troy Bilt away. I had 2 of them like that, only a little bigger engines. Troy Bilts were totally junk once MTD took them over. On both of them, the rear ends went out at 25 months. On the one that I had fixed, the front end fell apart the next year. I don't even think I got 400 hours on that one. And maybe a little over 200 on the other one.
Aha, I see. You know I still haven't really looked at that Troybilt. I just parked it in my back yard. I'm guessing that my initial assessment will reveal that it's totalled. Meaning more to fix it than it's worth. We'll see.
watched a bunch of your super-thick grass mowing vids. thanks for uploading the real time ones! those are hard to find these days on youtube with real sounds too!
Hey Mike, "AWESOME" Video.... What a great Yard to Film.... The Footage was EXCELLENT...... I Really Enjoyed That.... This will go to My Favorites List...LOL... The Slow Motion Weed Whacking was OFF THE CHAIN... That Looked Really Cool.... Thumbs Up !!!! Man that Grew Quick Huh? You Can't really Hear the Wind so what you did Worked... Yard Came out Good.... :) Should be Fun to Restore, Looks like a Good Mower.
+Cool58F250 Glad you liked it. I had fun filming it. And yea, I have very significantly reduced the wind noise while still keeping the equipment setup small. And that's everything I need. Happy camper here.
at 16:43 you can see the white fence needs Power washing, were you able to contract for that? If not, would you in the future? Oh, in the backyard, what about the left over "choppings"? Don't homeowners want the BIG PIECES cleaned up or removed? Thanks!
your zero turn mower dose a great job but I still love my 46 inch cub cadet because of the head lights cause sometimes I mow late til about 8:00 p.m. or later
Great job editing this video. I loved the slow motion on the weedeating. Very cool. I think the only way to kill the trees is to dig them up or to get a stump grinder and take them out that way. Any more tall grass videos coming soon? Thanks!
+lidsman2221 Still waiting for grass to grow from last year. But you never know who will stop me on the street for a cleanup. I could really go for one of those right now too. The Cheetah is bored.
Fascinating! Nothing stands in the way of the Cheetah!!!! You know, my allergies kicked in just watching all those weeds fly and I sneezed through most of the video!!
LOL, I agree. Actually I could care less if the line was named "Extra Loud!" I use this line because it's the first .130 line I've found that the Husq 535 won't rip right off the head.
I'm part of the 1%, have Parkinson's Disease my concentration level is very poor. Always wanting to turn channels, started watching n I can concentrate through the entire post. Especially love when they're sped up
The camera is great. yard looked awesome. Have you taken any photos with your new hf r700? if so, when you upload along with video, did it say pics unreadable due to being raw? How do you change this so they are taken in jpeg? I see only options to change video to mp4. ??? any help will be welcome and appreciated.
+PHARRAOH Aha, so you got the camera. Congrats! Now, the thing with the pictures puzzles me. Mine is taking pictures as jpegs, about 600-700k in size. And I don't see anywhere in the menus where you can change that to RAW or change it from RAW or anything. RAW is the largest possible size you can save as so UA-cam is probably throwing them back because they are over 2 MB each. You'll have to convert them to jpeg with a photo editor like Photoshop. Your computer probably comes with a program called Paint which will save as jpeg if you tell it to. Very strange that your camera is taking pics as RAW because I don't see it on mine and that is usually only an option found on higher end DSLRs. Hope this helps in some way.
+Divine Gamer Yea how 'bout that? I have no idea where all these views are coming from. If I had known that people wanted to watch grass mowing, I would have started this channel 10 years ago! Thanks for watching.

Killer Clown super nice dude... I had a white 2010 Wrangler 6 speed but the title got messed up So I have to return it. I am currently looking into more wranglers
It's Not Blurry.....and You are Doing A Great Service sharing your camera news.....Will you please make a short video on "how you edit your video"....Maybe a few basics...??.....Do you ever follow Dave Dugdale on UA-cam...?.......You remind me of him....You are going into details about your video & micorphone equipment, besides just showing us entertaining videos on the mowing, and I am learning a bit from you......Do You use a UV-Filter on your new Camera to protect the lens...??......Thanks
+Donald Pedigo Oh my, thanks for that reminder. It came with a UV filter but I forgot to even try it. Also forgot where I put it. I will check out Dave Dugdale. And basics of editing, eh, well, you see that one GoPro studio tip I posted isn't getting many views. I don't know if I want to go the tutorial direction.
And just to prove... Dead stumps still grow in Florida. I cut an ear tree down last year and left some logs on some concrete for about 3 months and it was still growing -,-.
Fucking love how the mower just is all casually " Fuck this bush, no problem, fuck this one in particular. 2ft grass, triple fuck that guy" meanwhile my mower shuts off, cries and call the cops for domestic assault for anything over 6"
I've also noticed that back yards tend to grow faster, taller and thicker than front yards. Why do you suppose that is? The only sort of logical explanation i can come up with is people with pets tend to let their doggos out in the backyard to.... uh, "fertilize."
I know that you edge last, but if you edged first, then you could mow over the edging clippings and cut them finer. It would look a lot better. The people living here need someone to come in and clean up that place. Power wash the fence, the concrete wall, and clean off the roof. Mold everywhere. Clean up all the trash. I don't understand how people can live in a pig pen. Even poor people can keep their property cleaned up.
CountrysideLawnNY You know, I had a full blown pressure cleaning setup. 4000 psi, all the attachments. A few thousand worth of stuff but I had trouble finding the jobs. I let a neighbor borrow it, he kept it for months then moved away with it in the middle of the night. A recurring theme with me. I just got a rig off the curb that someone was throwing away. I still have to check it out but it may be good.
@@Something2LookAt that brick driveway you cleaned using on a weed eater ,if that were pressure washed after words would have popped ! not saying it did not turn out amazing from weed eater.
they look like mulberry trees?!? If so - they are very invasive and can be hard to control. You can fresh cut the hard wood and spray roundup onto the cut and sometimes get kill, but it can take several attempts!
+Bellis Lawn & Gardens Yea, I think we're looking for something stronger. I'm thinking of putting stump dissolver on them even while they're alive.Otherwise they'll hire a stump grinding service sooner or later.

Empire Lawns It takes a lot. I even stopped it once when I sucked in a bed comforter. Why was there a comforter in the yard? I have no idea. But I generally slow my ground speed to what the mower can handle. I don't usually have to slow down much.
are you the tall grass king lls why does all your customers wait until it gets out of control ? but you also sold me on the scag seeing that it handles tall weeds and grass with ease

This is a result of a tree person failing to finish the job right. The poor lawn man has to try and keep it at bay with a weed trimmer. Stump Rott and Round UP Pro will take care of that problem..Good Luck
+Simon bleed LOL, the tree person was me! I have 2 videos up of me doing the tree job. Problem being of course, I'm not a tree person. I did refer them to someone with a stump grinder but no joy. It's alright. Kinda fun actually.

Well now there's something I've never done. But at the right location, it would work. I'll keep that in mind this year.
That is some serious weedwacker string
Where is your throttle set?? It sounds, and looks like it maybe at 1/2 to 3/4 full?

On that same topic, I mowed the yard in this video again yesterday and yes, these stumps still try to grow back. Amazing.
Sweet mower
Are you mowing on high deck or low deck and how many horsepower is it
the husqvarna 535ls has a nice sound to it :)
To me they lack in power compared to some of the comparable size stihls we have on the truck, but laying flat and small stuff its a breeze.
You just nail it with the music! So much fun to watch!
Thank you!

HellBoundMen I
@Somthing 2LookAt Didn't you do a video where you remove something from the deck on the scag cheetah so it shoots the grass out better?
Yea, there's a plate called a turbo baffle. It helps to take it off for the really really high stuff. But I leave it on for the regular yards.
Why did you not rake the trimmings up from those tree's you took down with the weed eater?
Just because I'm in Florida.
Nice scag scag man
I finally figured out where you are. You're in Stuccoville, Fla.
what type of blades you use
I've also noticed that back yards tend to grow faster, taller and thicker than front yards. Why do you suppose that is? The only sort of logical explanation i can come up with is people with pets tend to let their doggos out in the backyard to.... uh, "fertilize."

is that scag diesel or gas ? my kubota zero turn diesel will handle stumps like those big bush things just fine at max rpm
+big dave This has a gas Kawasaki 850V 31 hp. You're saying that yours could literally mow the stumps?
+Something 2LookAt yes, it'll cut stumps up to an inch and a half ...just raise the deck up and slowly lower it down on the bush
big dave Aha. I've done that a little. Takes a real tough mower.
+Something 2LookAt yes it does lol, it wears the blades down a lot.
great!!!!
Nice fence shot at 14:25 :)
+Denzy72 lol, I was hoping nobody would notice.
Man he was mowing over big ass bushes with that scag. I would not have cut that with my gravely

Oh yea. Toro is great from what I see. Never had one myself though.

they look like mulberry trees?!? If so - they are very invasive and can be hard to control. You can fresh cut the hard wood and spray roundup onto the cut and sometimes get kill, but it can take several attempts!

I meant roundish bushes.
Well, these customers called them sun flower trees. But I don't think that's what they're really called.
Are those swallow nests on the house?
I really don't know. Sorry.
What brand is your weed Wacker and model
I like to use a light, low power trimmer. Using mainly the Husqvarna 223L, but I have a Husqvarna 535 on the trailer too if I need power.

+Simon bleed LOL, the tree person was me! I have 2 videos up of me doing the tree job. Problem being of course, I'm not a tree person. I did refer them to someone with a stump grinder but no joy. It's alright. Kinda fun actually.
