    Always enjoy your vids. I can tell you keep your equipment in great shape. Blades are always sharp making for very clean cuts. Minimum over lap and efficient paths. That Cheetah really slings the clippings. I've watched many of your tall grass cuts and still amazed at what that machine can do.

    I realize this is an older video. However, you didn't edge the street areas... You don't have to have a formed curb to edge those yards. That pushes the finished lawn over the top. Seems you push the mower to cut things I would really be iffy trying myself. Another great idea, get one straight string trimmer and replace the string head with a 10" carbine tooth saw blade. There is nothing it wouldn't cut through with total ease. Believe me, I converted a few and amazing what they will cut. And it really isn't any more dangerous then the typical wimpy bush cutter blades that wouldn't cut anything nearly as easy as the carbine tip blades will.. . Six inch woody brush, no problem! Great video either way. Thumbs Up!

    I would tackle them with a brush cutting steel blade. A blade will allow you to cut the stump flush the ground and then spray any regrowth with weed killer to destroy the root system.
    That or dig em out haha
    Great video

    • @Something2LookAt
      @Something2LookAt  8 років тому

      +Loiero1995 lol, oh no, it's not gonna be me that digs them out. Yea if they don't hire a stump grinder soon I'll at least try to get these flush with the ground so I can just mow over all of them.

    I agree, that Cheetah is a beast. It makes my Husky look like a wimp. And I know why they wanted to give that Troy Bilt away. I had 2 of them like that, only a little bigger engines. Troy Bilts were totally junk once MTD took them over.
    On both of them, the rear ends went out at 25 months. On the one that I had fixed, the front end fell apart the next year. I don't even think I got 400 hours on that one. And maybe a little over 200 on the other one.

    • @Something2LookAt
      @Something2LookAt  8 років тому

      Aha, I see. You know I still haven't really looked at that Troybilt. I just parked it in my back yard. I'm guessing that my initial assessment will reveal that it's totalled. Meaning more to fix it than it's worth. We'll see.

      Maybe you will get lucky? But I know that I didn't. I know that I won't buy another one, unless its mid 90's or older, them maybe.

    Great job editing this video. I loved the slow motion on the weedeating. Very cool. I think the only way to kill the trees is to dig them up or to get a stump grinder and take them out that way. Any more tall grass videos coming soon? Thanks!

      LOL, I agree. Actually I could care less if the line was named "Extra Loud!" I use this line because it's the first .130 line I've found that the Husq 535 won't rip right off the head.

    The camera is great. yard looked awesome. Have you taken any photos with your new hf r700? if so, when you upload along with video, did it say pics unreadable due to being raw? How do you change this so they are taken in jpeg? I see only options to change video to mp4. ??? any help will be welcome and appreciated.

    • @Something2LookAt
      @Something2LookAt  8 років тому

      +PHARRAOH Aha, so you got the camera. Congrats! Now, the thing with the pictures puzzles me. Mine is taking pictures as jpegs, about 600-700k in size. And I don't see anywhere in the menus where you can change that to RAW or change it from RAW or anything. RAW is the largest possible size you can save as so UA-cam is probably throwing them back because they are over 2 MB each. You'll have to convert them to jpeg with a photo editor like Photoshop. Your computer probably comes with a program called Paint which will save as jpeg if you tell it to. Very strange that your camera is taking pics as RAW because I don't see it on mine and that is usually only an option found on higher end DSLRs. Hope this helps in some way.

    I've also noticed that back yards tend to grow faster, taller and thicker than front yards. Why do you suppose that is? The only sort of logical explanation i can come up with is people with pets tend to let their doggos out in the backyard to.... uh, "fertilize."

  • @onekittyhawk63
    @onekittyhawk63 4 роки тому

    I know that you edge last, but if you edged first, then you could mow over the edging clippings and cut them finer. It would look a lot better. The people living here need someone to come in and clean up that place. Power wash the fence, the concrete wall, and clean off the roof. Mold everywhere. Clean up all the trash. I don't understand how people can live in a pig pen. Even poor people can keep their property cleaned up.

      +Dun Rite Lawn Maintenance lol, I have sold a few Scags for Scag with these vids. Still no commission... :( Hey don't think all my yards are like this. Most are completely under weekly control. I just think these thick ones are more enjoyable to watch so I tend to bring my camera to these more often. This particular one was my fault. It's up to me on when to mow this one and I couldn't see the back yard from the road.

    Do you weed eat to neighbors fence. That's their job. If they want you to weed eat their fence than they need to pay you. That means that we need both sides of the fence. You need to make sure that that your clients fence.

    This is a result of a tree person failing to finish the job right. The poor lawn man has to try and keep it at bay with a weed trimmer. Stump Rott and Round UP Pro will take care of that problem..Good Luck
