The rain probably washes away a lot of nectar but it doesn't take long for new blossoms to emerge with the fuel of a fresh rain. I put out a gallon of a little lighter than 1 to 1 syrup in an open feeder and nothing is touching it so there has to be something better somewhere. Last month I was working hives in 100+ degree weather. Heat index was in the one hundred teens.

Lots of swarming here, lots of supersedure also. Bees are just bearding on the front and not flying in this 80% humidity at 82⁰f.
