Thank you so much for your video. I went through all the steps and replaced my belt. I had an axle that split so I had to take the transmission out. While I did that I replaced the belt. When I put everything back together the tractor barely moved in first or reverse and didn’t go anywhere in the upper gears. I watched your video a couple times and saw the pulley near the engine shaft drive pulley, and mine was out of place and then you mentioned it was movable. Apparently when I loosened it to take the belt off, it moved into a no load position. Once I moved the pulley back out, everything worked great. Thank you so much for the time you spent explaining it. Excellent video. Thanks.

This was an excellent video. The LX173 is a workhorse. It will be a sad day for me if mine ever dies.

Best mower I ever owned! I finally sold mine for a 0 turn, but you can't beat those old mowers!

i have looked all over the place searching for the drive belt and nobody has the right size. Where did you get yours from?

Does it matter having it tipped on its side? No oil comes out?
