After seeing the timeline of this video I was 😮! When I started watching it was interesting. The flow of conversation was good. Everybody has something to from their experiences. How elaborate can it be! Aadil was giving a whole platter to enjoy. Explaining with examples. Long and short duration flights. Stopover benefits, and specially curated food guide on what to have and not. It’s not just another miles and travel video it’s also a food guide that comes complimentary for those who watch it. I will be short of words writing about this episode. You must see it to know it. Great job everyone and thanks for sharing your experiences. 🙏
Thank you for such a thoughtful and detailed comment! 🙌 We’re thrilled to hear that you enjoyed the flow of the conversation and found value in the examples and travel tips shared. Looks like we’re not just earning miles, but brownie points too! 😉✈🍴 Oh, and if you feel like spreading the word, a shoutout on Twitter or Instagram (and tagging us) would totally help us rack up some 'social' miles too! 😄🙏
Flew business class SQ from Vietnam to Mumbai in 2024 and the experience was mind blowing. An additional tip for anyone flying Vietnam to Mumbai business class : SQ business class ticket provides an option to avail either their business class lounge at the ho chi minh city airport or a 60 minute complimentary spa at the airport. Skip the lounge and go for the spa, it’s amazing
Thank you! 🙌 It’s amazing to hear that you’re enjoying the show. Your support keeps us motivated to bring more value to this niche community of travel and points enthusiasts! Stay tuned for more exciting content. ✈✨
What a great Episode, so much to learn and pick up, I am funneling all my corporate travel via Singpore in the future to give me the best chance at an upgrade.
If your company allows you to book tickets and get them reimbursed, the Krisflyer apex card is a no brainer: www.sbicard.com/eapply/eapply-form.page/catalogue-refer?referralcode=jT6yGpRu3Wu
The best way to do utility bills is through Amazon Pay. The best cards to get Amazon Pay are Infinia (13% for apay), and Amex Gold (12% on apay if you redeem for Marriott) If you are getting an Amex - get it with a referral; you will get extra points for joining. If you do not have one - use ours: americanexpress.com/en-in/referral/gold?ref=sUNAIC9Cwx8&XL=MNTNS
@@GreatIndianMiles well I want to pay in range of 3-5 lakhs a month . I don’t own infinia. So, which card shall be most beneficial. Tried to search while internet , but couldn’t get best advice .
You can use Neu Infinity upto 1L a month (through Tata Neu app) - bitli.in/7y2hOpx You can use Axis Ace for 5% upto 20K on gpay: bitlii.cc/en/DJVHU5 Can't do too much more for these spends. Best bet is apply for multiple Neu Infinity for family
Thanks a lot, @GVREDDY-s2x! Glad you liked the episode; our viewers support means a lot to us! We have episodes covering more programs coming up soon - do subscribe and tune in!
Such a fab video..!! Love the content that you all bring in. 👏Here's to more of them . Keep 'em coming. Quick question though - Can we cancel/postpone an award seat? Are the miles credited back to our account, if we were to cancel? This question specifically pertains to SQ. However, it would be great if you could also address this for other FFPs in one of your future videos.
Thank you, Anish, for the kind words! We're thrilled to know you're enjoying the content. 🙌 To answer your question about KrisFlyer award tickets: Promo Awards: Generally non-refundable. Saver Awards: Cancellation Fee: US$75 per ticket. Advantage Awards: Cancellation Fee: US$50 per ticket. Expired Miles: If the miles used for booking expire before cancellation, they cannot be redeposited. Partially Used Tickets: Once travel has commenced, the award ticket is considered partially used and is non-refundable. We’ll definitely cover more frequent flyer programs (FFPs) in upcoming videos-stay tuned for those! 😊 Also, if you’re finding these videos helpful, it would mean the world to us if you could spread the word on your preferred social platform-LinkedIn, Twitter, or Instagram-and don’t forget to tag us. Your support helps us reach more travel enthusiasts like you. ✈🌏 Happy travels! 🛫
Thank you, Shubham! 🙌 We're thrilled you loved the episode. A budget-friendly international trip covering miles and an Accor hotel 7-day itinerary sounds like a fun idea-we'll try and consider creating something along those lines in the future. Oh, and if you’re enjoying the show, a quick shoutout on your favorite social media-Twitter or Instagram-would be amazing! Don’t forget to tag us so we can see and share the love. Who knows, your post might inspire someone else to start their points and miles journey! 😉✈️
Cheapest will likely be the Air India flights; best FFP will be United (49K), followed by Air India(72K) / Aeroplan (70K). Explore the DEL-JFK flight too - its on the newer A350 planes :)
Great content guys! Love the fact that you all are sharing the worthy knowledge with all. My question is pertaining to Star alliance and Kris flyer being a partner. Most of us have accumulated Maharaja points with gold status, is there a way to utilise/transfer the Maharaja points for booking on Kris Flyer? Thanks
You can directly redeem, but its rather pricey. For instance, BLR -> SIN one way is 12K miles on Air India, and 35K miles if we redeem on Singapore Airlines. It's not a good way to utilize the points at all
It's a hard expiry of 3 years. Can't strategize much here - earn and burn! One thing you can do is book 365 days in advance. However, if you cancel these, your miles will be forfeited
Which card should a small pvt Ltd company take? Whose spends are fuel, flights and hotels which they can do via cc. Rest they have to do RTGS cuz no one accept's cc. So, any suggestions?
Haha, you’ve caught Aadil red-handed, Rajiv! 😄 He's crazy passionate about food, credit cards, and flying business and first-especially on Singapore Airlines. It all came together in this episode like the perfect in-flight meal! 🍽 Thanks for tuning in and for the awesome comment! More coming your way soon! ✈
@@GreatIndianMilesHaha! Yes looking forward to more. Dunno if it would be possible but can you do a video dedicated to the different FF programmes out there, the partner airlines with them, and what membership should one hold to avail what different airline redemptions? Almost like a family tree of sorts! Would be such a good reference to come back to any time one has to plan a trip. Just a thought!
Adil, great podcast again. After seeing the entire podcast is it safe to say that similar to how for hotels - Accor is a no brainer to transfer to get maximum return and options (parallel to Amex points to Marriot), for airline partner Krisflyer would be the go to FF program to consolidate across SGP and star alliance for most regions to travel? My question to you - Is there an alternate airline partner which gives Singapore airlines Krisflyer a tough competition in terms of coverage and miles (lower miles/value for miles) (e.g. Emirates Skywards, Aeroplan, Avios, etc). . . Across all podcast numerous e.g. have cited on great redemption across on platforms like Avianca, JAL, Alaska, Finnair, Iberia, etc. . . it gets pretty intimidating to start planning. . .
From a strict value angle, I will say JAL, Aeroplan, and Virgin have some amazing sweet spots - they cover each of the bigger alliances. From a point of view of flexibility and ease of earning, I would say it would be the Avios ecosystem (Qatar / BA / FinnAir). We have an episode coming up soon!
“This channel/podcast seems disconnected from the majority of its audience. Discussing high-end credit cards catering to the top 10% of earners, with benefits like free flights for spending over ₹50 lakh annually, doesn’t resonate with the average user. Instead, focus on providing insights and practical advice for the remaining 90% of credit card users-those who don’t have access to such premium cards. That would demonstrate a true understanding of the credit card landscape and create content that is genuinely useful to a wider audience.”
Well, I am pretty sure there are tens of other channels for credit cards for that. (Even I started watching them only) Nahi mile koi toh batana, I will tell you how to optimize cashbacks/points in the mid to semi-premium range of cards 😅😂 Aadil and team are exposing us to something absolutely new, that's rarely discussed in our day to day lives. They might be targeting a different tax bracket altogether, but are giving us a sniff of the luxuries and experiences that exist, and we may have never even thought of, and tracing a rough path to get it...
Thank you for sharing your perspective, Pranav! We completely understand that some of the content might feel tailored to a specific audience. The goal of our show is to inspire and inform, showcasing what’s possible with points and miles-even the aspirational stuff. That said, your feedback is super valuable, and we’ll make sure to balance things out with more practical advice for mid-range and everyday credit cards that can resonate with a wider audience. Stay tuned for more variety in upcoming episodes! 😊
Vedant, thank you for chiming in and sharing your take! 🙌 You’ve captured the essence of what we’re trying to do-introducing a touch of aspiration while showing that luxury travel isn’t as out of reach as it may seem with the right strategies. We love hearing that you’re finding value in exploring these ideas, and we’ll continue to mix in actionable tips across different card tiers so everyone can find their path to travel hacks that work for them. Thanks for the support-it means a lot! ✈️😊

For BOM-JFK which is the best FFP or what are the best options to look. Planning in June. I know of Virgin, Kris, Alaskan.

Great episode as expected, please try to do an episode on indian aviation experiences and hacks..
Hey guys great episode. Just one query, what is the validity and expiry of Kris Flyer miles?? And how to optimise the same. Thanks.

Quick one, can I use my Kris miles to book for my dependents when I'm not travelling?
Much appreciate if could know that
You're allowed to book for your direct relative. Can't do it for friends etc
Many thanks for the quick revert and how do they verify that people travelling are family or friends, basis the nominees I add?
Please make video on Europe airline
Which airline are you interested in?

I have Maharaja Club Gold which is a star alliance partner. How can i get Krisflyer gold using this?
I don't think you can get krisflyer gold per say, but with star alliance gold, you can enjoy most of the benefits anyway
Just a quick one, why don’t you try return award tickets
It will mostly just be 2X when it comes to award tickets :)

Yes. Its a great card for a 5L milestone and international spends anyway
Also all those who got Marriot Gold can claim Singapore Airlines Gold tier
