I really enjoyed the AFL and AF2 but I think the instability of the teams really hurt the league. It's difficult to build a fanbase when you have teams coming and going every couple of years. I really like what the IFL has done over the past few years, they too have had instability but recently seemed to have stabilized and seem to be a good place at least for the moment. I've followed Arena / Indoor since the early 90's via TNN tape delays. 😂TBH after watching Indoor grow and the quality of play improve over the past few seasons I've found I like Indoor rules far better than Arena. It's a much more dynamic game.
One notable player I think you left out would be Rob Keefe. He's the only person in the history of Arena Football two win the Arena Bowl and Arena Cup and both a player and a coach. He's currently a member of the Bay Area Panther's coaching staff in the IFL. It might sound weird, but I've always liked Arena Football better than what I call traditional football. My biggest complaint about football is that, with the stop and go nature of it, the game seems too slow. The smaller field really speeds it up though.
@@theworldoffootball I think they should bring back players playing both ways. This also reduces the roster size thus reducing costs like pay and travel. I think, this is also great for ex-NFL/CFL players who like to keep playing just for the love of the game. I know, many great players have ended their careers in the AFL/IFL.
Great video Mr. Snow. You got a good voice for narration. It's very compelling. Thanks for sharing
Very kind of you! Thanks for watching!
Great memories! Really enjoying your football videos.
Appreciate that! We love this league!
It's amazing to think that the birth of the AFL (and all of the indoor football leagues) was inspired by the MISL!
Deion sanders part owned the Austin Wranglers
Yup! You are correct!
At one point for one season my home town Sacramento had an arena team “the Sacramento attack” I attended every game
I noticed the Grand Rapids Rampage helmet behind you. I was a big fan back in the day!
We were former season ticket holders to the Rampage!
Indiana Firebirds!!!! Love the USFL the past two years, and I'm excited to hear Arena Football League is returning!
They were a good team!
They were a good team in Albany. They were trash in Indianapolis and then folded.
Also I completely agree 24 can’t come soon enough

I love Kurt Warner‘s Iowa barnstormer helmet.
It is one of the best Helmets out there!
Oronde Gadsen also made it to the league played for the Dolphins.
There were lots of players. Just couldn’t name them all.
👍🏿
New York needs a team
We think they probably will get one.
@@theworldoffootball I hope so
Denver Dynamite 1st Champs
It sounds like AFL 3.0 is having a lot of problems and will likely fold again. I hope to be proven wrong.
Yes, lots of issues. Definitely some bright spots, but it does still put the league’s future in question.
