I am so thankful you took the time to make both of these videos, Sasha. There isn't one idea I would not use. I am particularly interested in the last two for making the central image really pop.🌷🇨🇦🌷
Fun ideas! I need to finish a batch of church birthday cards. After that, I am attacking my parts and pieces mixed with scraps. Embossing folders will add a fun element to that. Thank you!
I have been stamping since 1993, with an interruption for several years in the middle to raise kids!! I learn something new from you EVERY TIME I watch your videos! Amazing!! Please keep them coming! You are a blessing!
What a fantastic video of knowledge. I never thought of these ways to create a card. Can't wait to see #2. I know you have a very busy life, and I really want to thank you for your ideas.
I had to pause the video to thank you for opening my eyes to the idea of using embossing folders with acrylic. I love to do dry embossing of vellum but never thought about acrylic. Now, back to the video (and then on to the next one). You're so creative!☺
I forgot about the reverse embossing. I've seen different ways to do it but yours seems the simplest. I admit I've been spoiled by 3D embossing folders because the effect is so dramatic. I still use my regular embossing folders but it's hard not to play favorites. Embossed aluminum foil is so pretty when alcohol ink is added. I imagine the embossed acrylic sheet would also look great with alcohol ink. I also use several layers of heavy duty aluminum foil, or silver foil tape or 36g copper, silver or gold metal sheets for embossing. I imagine you have foil tape in the UK. It's used to tape ducts/pipes together so it's found in hardware stores or on Amazon. Vinyl wallpaper also embosses really well as do Sizzix Texture rolls. I've seen leather embossed with standard embossing folders and resin used on embossing folders for texture. There are so many things that embossing folders can be used with. Even though I'm familiar with all of these techniques, it's still good to see them all in one place because everyone puts their own spin on it so always something to learn.
Loving this series! I store my embossing folders in small notebooks. One of the best things I've done is run a sample of every folder, then take an ink pad and run across a patch on each side - it really illustrates how different the emboss and deboss looks are.
Thank you for a educational video . As u say we forget about using the folders in different ways . I have a confession , I saw the poinsettia folder earlier but was good and didn’t buy it . Watched you video and oops it jumped back into my basket and it’s now on its way to me , all i have to do now is remember what I was going to do with it when it arrives . Thank you for sharing ur ideas and look forward to watching part 2 . Have a lovely weekend x
This is one of the best videos I've seen for cards/crafts and I've seen a lot. The folders are so versatile, inexpensive and easy to use to get lovely effects without too much fiddling around, thanks for this and part 2. You should write a book, I would definitely buy it.
OMG that are so many new ideas, and regulary been using embossingfolders, but can use them soo much more and wow how creative you are, going to watch this video many more times so i don't forget yourbrilliant ideas.. I mean ... Ribbon, wow.. So look forward to the other video!!! 👍 💋 💋 Thx soooo much!!!!

I honestly didn’t expect to see anything new or if it was new to me, I didn’t think it would be something i would want to use. I’m very happy to say, I was really wrong! I especially like the one using ribbon and the ones utilizing selective areas.| I’m looking forward to part 2. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for the trip down memory lane! So many great techniques that I had done before but had totally forgotten about. Definitely looking forward to part 2. I don't know if this is on your part 2 or not but another one we used to do is to cut open a pretty can like a coke can or iced tea can, & run that through with an embossing folder.
Love these ideas. Especially adding mire interest to elements. I do a lot of scrapbooking and excited about embossing some butterflies now. Thanks for sharing!!
