    Hey, I really enjoy how it's coming along! You've got some smart choices worked into the design, so this is going to be really interesting to try to beat. Oh, while I'm on the thought- something that Borderwise has started doing, which I think is a good idea, is to spawn ships in at a 45* angle from one another, to give an even fairness between frontsiders and broadsiders- I'd encourage that thought for fights with the Gimle'. Also wanted to say that I like the color-based detail-work that you do; the look of having different building materials. It really works for your style, and style is one thing that you really do have in your builds as a standout feature. I'm really feeling inspired to start working on a design of my own now. ^_^

      Glad you like the process so far, I you'll think it looks glorious when it's done ^^
      The fights with the Gimle will be at angle 0, because a spawn angle lets ships that don't spend a good budget on maneuverability to stay far away, if they don't they will get in close, a potential frontsider does deserve some advantage since it is a easy target for crams and cram mortars and even torpedoes. So I do know that this rule will make it a lot harder for me to beat something like the turtelord, but I think it is fair. This is also how tournament organizer Menti does it and I do take his opinion very seriously about this as he organized so many more and better tourneys than me, and I agree with the points, but each to their own, if someone wanna spawn the Gimle at 45 degrees it only serves me well, hope they line up its right side towards the enemy and not the left though hahaha!
      Glad you do like the style, I have finally after years of playing found a style that feels like me and started to understand how to designs stuff with it :)
      Fun fact, its a modification and continuation on the Gmodism Industries style from StarMade game back in the days we did that a lot!

    Redundancy is good
    Battleship is taking form pretty well.
    Not to sure why viewership would go down, probably youtube unless it continues for a long time.

    Here I am having yet to build a ship that I feel is large enough to comfortably fit large steam parts into. Looks nice, like a decorative cruise ship with guns.
    If I were to build a counter I would look into a hollow point kinetic sand blaster. It can tunnel through armor but not bothered by angles or stacks, also kinetic tends have high health to overload LAMs.

      No one will stop kinetics or sandblast, why they are safe tactics, I hope to be redundant enough!

    For some reason its weirdly satisfyng to watch the build progress you should totally make like a video where the stages of the ship are shown in order with some calming music

      Yeah this game takes time mate! I'd begin with specifying on either Crams or APS, then do large steam engines and have thick armour, skip CIWS and lams for now, and that are the most important parts to make a good battleship, you can learn more systems later on!

      Also, you say "no water pumps". I assume that includes helium pumps, also? Oh, and I'm stealing that tetra armor shell.

      ​@@dreadpiratelenny1348 Glad you like it mate! Yeah helium causes the same lag issues like water pumps ;)
      The tetra armour really can make some hesh shells deal no damage lol, sometimes it doesn't work but I think the shell is worth it, or seems to be XD

      @GMODISM On my computer, pumps do cause a little lag, but having many subobjects sometimes crashes it. Like, some player-made craft have dozens of spinblocks. My PC will load the craft, then immediately lock up completely. Whereas having hundreds of pumps only causes a little lag.
      My old Sharpshooter battelship had a variable pump control system tied to a breadboard PiD, full stability control with only pumps! However, that did cause tremendous lag, so I scrapped that idea.

      @@dreadpiratelenny1348 Pumps only lag when there are holes and damage in the hull, so they need to pump, even a ACB switching them of in combat does not help, still lags. and the lag type is the worst: micro stuttering which I HATE with a passion XD
      I also used pump control for tiny submarines, works well enough when only having like 4 pumps

    I might make a tournament version of the Lobster. As most of the vehicle is on sub objects, it already depends very little on water pumps for buoyancy. So stripping out the rest would not be such a problem.
    And removing the Legs and making the cranes Static should help with lag too.

      The Lobster caught my attention before, I haven't checked it out so much yet but I was intending to, if it lags too much, ask a friend record that battle for me since I do want to see how if the lobster will enter the hall of Gimle or not.... XD

    If you want your triple PAC turret to hit the same spot with all 3 shots, you'll need to do it with lua, unfortunately. Otherwise if the block that the AI is aiming at gets destroyed, the turret will immediately change targets and the shots meant to go into the same place after that will end up going somewhere else, or not firing at all, depending on how you set up your synchronization settings.

      Ah darn will not lua this OMG, yeah I think I'll just remove sync and hope damage is dealt in a good way...

    I think you should remind viewers to not only subscribe but also hit the notification bell and like and comment on your videos. Some of the best content creators on this platform are difficult to find because of that darned algorithm! Must manipulate the algorithm!

    Im somewhat new to this game and I have a problem on all my boats so far. No matter how high I put my goal altitude for my boats it doesn't listen, it just stays barely above the water (about deck level). But it fixes itself when I forcibly sink it. It doesn't sit as high out of the water like your boat and I have pumps! It has pitch and roll propellers on the bottom and they do work properly I checked in manual control. Also I put the 2 layers of alloy armor at the bottom for more floatyness. I followed all of your tutorials on pids and stability and hight but it still barely floats. Engine power isn't a problem (160,000 power steam engine). The pitch and roll propellers under the bottom of the ship don't spin much at all, only when I force the boat underwater do they go full power. Tips?

      For the Gimle I use a general PID to control altitude, the 3 propellers, big ones right under it are set to control altitude too. My guess is that you may have overused heavy armour, it is in fact as heavy as lead and if you want loads of HA you need insane amounts of alloy to balance it. Hope it helps!

      Ensure you are using ship/tank manoeuvre for the ai and set hover/pitch control on.

      @@GMODISM Hi! Do you have a video guide for PID and IA customization? I'm able to make stable boat, but is not same as having good/perfect controls for the IA and PID.
      Like @turbulos i don't knw how control altitude and i'm using rudder to pitch my hydrofoil boat with no PID or custom IA. Someone have a writed guide somewhere maybe? Thank you so much!

      I know the Position of my Guns relativ to my COM. So with some adjustments and a really fast shell this tactic is possible.
      But a Laser would not hurt the cause
