Fun thing to do with Smokestacks is to dynamically set the particle size and particle count based on speed with a Breadboard to imitate engine load. Where you get no smoke at idle and a big plume when accelerating.
Yeah sounds cool but IDK breadboard yet 😅
@@GMODISMI think all you would need to do in the breadboard is read the output of your current velocity or if you truly want to simulate engine load read the output of your engine rpms or whatever it is for steam.
That gets inputed into a maths evaluator that says for example if using velocity " a >= 20 ? x : y";
This reads out as "If input 'a' is greater than or equal to 20, then output 'x'(a value you determine and are satisfied with), otherwise output 'y' (most likely a lower value than 'x', but again a value you determine)
That maths evaluator output then gets inputted into a Generic Block Setter (GBS), which you can control smoke deco's with and set particle size.
You would need to do the exact same thing but this time set the 'x' and 'y' variables to numbers that make sense to set a Generic Block Setter controlling particle count.
Sorry for the long comment on a 3 month old video, but I hope that makes sense, if need be I can show you on discord if you want, incase this explanation makes no sense.
