Copy and pasting this message to the people buying into these dumb conspiracy theories about this tunnel: The synagogue this happened in was closed during Covid so once everything reopened, a group of chassidishe people decided that the best way to make sure they were never locked out again was to tunnel underneath from the old and abandoned Mikvah on the next block. They successfully completed the tunnel, and of course instantly got found out.

I saw the video, there was a secret tunnel through a wall in the basement, there were soiled mattresses. They were up to something nefarious in that place, hiding behind their religion to do it

It could be that some become a drug addict and the family kicks them out. Could be a place for them to do some illegal shit that could get them kicked out of the club. Where are they to go? A.
