    Again Kanika, thank you so much for sharing this. By the way, I too have a LeClerc counterbalance loom. On my crank handle there is a threaded hole that a set screw fits in and that helps hold it on the hub. You might be able to replace yours. However, your way, of turning the beam instead of using the crank, allows for watching the counter and guiding the warp bundle and that is clearly beneficial.

      @@elizabethsielaff3414 Thanks for the tip on the handle. Mine must be older than that change. Others have complained of the same issue. I will look into it.

      @@kanika3790 Operative word is "helps", it still gets loose the longer the warp is! ;-)

    My nams is Linda. I have a Nelus 2 counter balance loom. It's the older one by leclearc. How do you tie up your lamms to the treddles for plain weave. Is it different from a Jack loom tie up. Do you know of any books that were written for the counterbalance loom? Thank you. I'm on face ook under Linda Jane. From Tennessee.
