this song’s helping me finally let go of my ex best friend. consciously i’m glad she’s out of my life and am mostly moved on. but it was a long time, she’s still ingrained in the deeper layers of my mind and i feel like i never got any proper satisfying closure. these lyrics aren’t perfectly reflective of my situation but the song still feels right to describe it and i feel like finally i’m entering the “moving on at ALL levels” stage.
