Funny how perspectives are. I, for one, hate auto tune, and because of that I absolutely can’t stand this part. It feels way too sharp and corny to my ears. I can’t help but make a face every time the song gets there lol I objectively listen to this song because of the feeling I get through the chorus: “I watch the moon Let it run my mood Can’t stop thinking of you” I love the way it’s structured and I love the melodies as the sentences grow longer in each verse It amuses me the different ways art connects to people. We both like and listen to the same song, but we do it because of absolutely different reasons. That’s just awesome.

Yesterday was her first birthday since her passing, and today I had the idea to send her a text message and update her about my life so far. This song reminds me of her now, and I love it.
