Your progression is really good, keep it up. You’re building up a really good base of tricks and skills before trying the crazy stuff. I went straight for the flashy stuff and I eventually plateaued.

Very impressive. I just got my first BMX bike yesterday. I wasn't able to get hops super fast as it was later in the day when I got back from the bike shop. I most likely won't be doing any biking today as it is almost freezing. Keep up the good work! :D

I grew up in the 80's and we all started riding dirt around the age of 8 to 10 years old. Back then, they didn't have very many size options for bikes either. They were either very small tike sized or 20 inch bikes. I was riding an 87 dyno detour at 10 years old. That thing must have weighed 40lbs. Anyway, your progress is amazing. I'm 44 now and doubt I could learn/relearn half those tricks in that amount of time.
I think it’s better to start off with a cassette, it’ll be harder in the beginning but then it’ll give you a lot of skills that will help you in the future, and it’ll make it easier to later transition into a freecoaster. (Starting with a freecoaster and then moving to cassette will be harder)
Also I want to mention great job on wearing a helmet brain book it is a lifesaver also you might want to use a mouthguard when you start throwing bar spins You don’t want the crossbar to hit you in the teeth and knock your teeth out
